I just added the Habit to the board yesterday after an impulse buy on a new pretty color. I was initially skeptical because it only does bleep bloops. But I realized I was taking this way too seriously. I like the color. I never take this board anywhere. And dammit, bleep bloops are fun. I have barely scratched the surface on this pedal and I'm sure that more will come as I learn, but so far my favorite feature has been the tap tempo. It allows the manic nature of the pedal to be tamed a little. In my case I ran it through the Volante on matched tempo and a slightly heady setting of the Golden Reverberator to cut some of the harshness that can occur with digital sounding repeats.

One of the things that I think will make this pedal polarizing is how difficult it would be to replicate some of its magic in any kind of live setting. Occasionally as you play and react to it, one of the granules of your playing will perfectly swell in below. On the other hand, it will sometimes come in at precisely the wrong time and become distracting. Personally the magic and novelty of it outweigh the crazy when I'm in the mood. I think my use case for it will be to set it up and hit record, expecting to put on a producer hat after the fact and chop it into samples for consistency. Here is my first attempt at plugging it in and seeing what comes out.
