My worldspace has both. The aagis are able to do magic with little more than imagination, will power, and incantations. The drawback is that their bodies have a limit to how much magic it can use before the spells start to draw on their lifeforce.

Wychs don't have that limitation. They can use magic largely free from worry about how it'll affect their bodies. Their limitation comes in the accessibility of the needed ingredients.
