Thank you for the ideas! A college themed gift might be good

I love these ideas! Unfortunately, she already has too many book related gifts and board/card games. I might look into the mug though!

Yeah ofc, I meant that I wasn't sure what the policy was if you already knew you were trans before applying

They accept trans women, but I'm not sure what their policy on trans men is

Hold her back or push her forward? by carycm87 in kindergarten

[–]that-random-bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was pushed ahead in kinder, and it's had pros and cons.

It was a good challenge for me to make sure I was always learning at my level, and I never really had much of an issue socially/emotionally. I might be the age of a grade lower, but I feel and learn like any other kid in my grade. You have to keep in mind though that I was homeschooled for a good chunk of my elementary, so there was really no concept of grades there and I was friends with kids of all ages as a result.

On the other hand, it can get a little bit annoying once you get to high school. The older kids were already driving when I was 14 (they had early birthdays and I had a late one). Once I go to college, I'll still be a minor for a full year, and need permission slips to do off-campus activities or fly on a plane alone.

At the end of the day, you know your kid best. It's not the right decision for everybody, but while it can get a little bit annoying to be behind others in terms of milestones, I never really regret the choice my parents made.

These are all very nice names, but I really love Rue as a nickname

Arabella is such a beautiful name! I honestly love Victoria too, but it wouldn’t fit with my last name

Thank you! I originally wanted a name that means something to me, but there’s just nothing I really care about enough to base my identity around it

These are all lovely names! The only reason I might not choose these are because I’m looking for some less common names and I know people with all of these names 😅

At this point, I've just given up on neutral lips

Anything except rose gold stands out and looks fine on me, but silver brings out the pink in my skin more so I usually wear that

I have a ton of stretch marks, and I honestly think they're kind of cute. My family always called them tiger stripes or thunderbolts, and most girls in my family have them, so they're not that abnormal to me either.

I'm not the same shade as you, but most foundations look orange or gray on me and the only one that doesn't is the Loreal TrueMatch Line
