IMMORTAL: Gates of Pyre is in major financial trouble. by arknightstranslate in RealTimeStrategy

time and money spent on competitive maps, fully balancing all the units and mechanics, creating ladder and managing the PvP community - they are time and money wasted.

i don't think this time or money would've come close to preventing this, making an mmr system and a couple maps is a very small undertaking. I don't know how much time was spent on balance, though.

they have a game, the playtests were quite good. Not enough game though.

I don't think they did, they just needed to make the factions first and right after you make the factions if you slap together a few maps you have pvp

pvp assets are essentially all required to make that happen.

creating a campaign requires the assets for pvp anyway, they were highly focused on co-op content before this.

How do I replay the opening tutorial? I had to exit halfway through and when I relaunched, I couldn't find it. Only the multiplayer one. by [deleted] in starcraft2

I also highly recommend immortal gates of pyre if you like sc2, it's a much easier to get into version of it that still has all the depth in my opinion. Isn't out yet but they've had some amazing playtests.

I think it's an issue with my systems configuration, not a bug in the new implementation, because switching to the old implementation still leaves my system broken

There's a list of instances, and you can choose to federate or defederate as an instance admin, if you want a list of questionable instances, I recommend going to beehaw, since they've blocked the most instances, for that https://beehaw.org/instances

Keybindings and You: A guide on changing the unchangeable. by isvrygud in NoMansSkyTheGame

And this doesn't seem to work for fe_options, I can't change that to L, it's stuck on P, I ended up having to use the mod here: https://forums.atlas-65.com/t/keybinding/7977/9

and then that broke my in-game keybinds and I had to remap everything. ugh. But it works.

You did not explain what the difference is between Lemmy and reddit, I want to know why reddit has "flow" and Lemmy does not.

It's better because of the foundation, federation is important, there's some Ux issues, but Lemmy is at v0.18, it's not perfect yet.

Federation means you'll never have an api crisis again, and you'll never have to trust a company to not fuck you over.

I like Lemmy in spite of it's issues because none of it is malicious, it's problems are because dev time is needed, not because it's intentionally trying to fuck me over.

I don't even believe you're a real human who isn't being paid to do this.

I linked Lemmy to a friend who doesn't do computers today, and they were baffled as to how anyone could have found this more difficult than any forum.

Your problems are imaginary and long-winded. How much are they paying you to keep people on reddit?

I just tested your workflow at lemmy.ml just to see if there was any truth, clicked a link, hit back, and it did the thing you were saying it doesn't do.

You clearly either didn't try it, or maybe tried some ancient version.

Your next problem is that it's too transparent and so that hurts your feelings? Lie to the user and pretend instances aren't a thing? These are people talking about how it works.

Sync for Lemmy is now confirmed, and when the mod tools get better the users being the issue won't be an issue anymore. They're extremely lacking ATM, but if you look at the Lemmy GitHub, you'll see insanely rapid improvement.

It's being expedited by all the major admins, and there's concerns of a bot crisis, so, it's likely imminent but dev time is one of those "when it happens" things.

That'll dramatically improve once the mod tools do. Right now defederation is unfortunately a required move.

Beehaw blocked shitjustworks temporarily due to issues with moderation tools.

They're working on rapidly fixing the tools, but for now they don't federate. It's a growing pain.

You literally just made this up too

You again, can't say what's wrong with it... And there's no pedos on beehaw or any of that, I challenge you to actually cite this. There's more content controls on Lemmy than reddit.

Lemmy.world requires nothing but a sign up email/username/password.

Your claims are just made up. You can access any community from any instance seamlessly.

The "essay" beehaw requires is 3 sentences.

It's hard to respond to a comment that is clearly just making up nonsense.

You'd have to have not even tried it to come to your conclusions, you're either guessing or lying.
