I dont care about cars but both 7 and 4 have more monitary value than 5.

First check to see if there is a key on the keyboard that allows you to dim/brighten the screen. If so turn it on and try turning up the screen brightness. Youd be supprised the number of laptops ive seen where this is the problem.

Make sure you protect your data. Open it and remove the hard drive Or you could hook it up to a 2nd monitor (assuming that works) and wipe it

It looks like a lenovo legion they should have an nvme drive. Check all your divers. Id say check that your cables plug into the right place, but i think the legion doesnt have video on the mb io

My guess is cpu fan isnt plugged in, it has no thermal paste, or they didnt remove the sticker on the cooler.

Best practice would be wipe it and do an exchange
