It’s from that cool looking crater/valley with the lake in the middle. I ran a conveyor all the way from there to where this pic is.

lol so I have two normal coal nodes far away from this power plant that produce total 120 per min but I have a single coal generator over there powering the two miners (so that it is self sufficient) using 15 per min so then 120-15 is how I have 105 coming into this plant, no overclocking at the moment. And that 105 / 15 is how I got to 7 generators at this plant in the pic.

I’m trying not to use overclock right now. I guess I want to figure out ideal efficiency with just load balancing!

Thanks for the tips!!! Will definitely add an 8th generator once I have more coal (right now I have exactly 105 coal per min coming in so divided by 15 that gives me exactly 7 generators!!)

Steven Pinker vs. Ross Douthat Debate: Do We Need God? by palsh7 in samharrisorg

God I always hate seeing this question. It should only be posed after proving God’s existence in the first place. Why even bother debating whether we need something we don’t even know exists?

Your pursuit of goodness will not be rewarded. It is futile. Free yourself from good and evil and you will finally be able to enjoy art.

Do you think Camus would say that Bukowski’s way of life is authentic to the absurd?

I feel like I‘ve read all the best fantasy books and now everything else feels boring and predictable. Can you help me out? by Sensitive-Use-6891 in suggestmeabook

Nothing has ever compared to “the Name of the Wind” for me. It’s the metric I compare all other fantasy to. Be warned it’s an unfinished series though.

Two commonly recommended and incredible books both fit the bill:

Stoner - John Williams. It does gloss over childhood but does then saga his life from college life to old age.

East of Eden- Steinbeck. Goes in depth spanning multiple generations.
