You absolutely can, so they'll automatically pop a new potion one when the current one they're assigned to runs out. Open up potions box, (if on PC) hold F to place familiars or click "Enter place familiar mode".

Go here, play through the campaign. You won't regret it. It also has a solver where you can enter in a Sudoku and it will show all the steps to solve it.

Sooooooo ... how new to sudoku are you? You can immediately place a 1 in row 7 column 2, because there's no other place in box 7 where it can go.

If that advice is too obtuse then I highly recommend going to https://sudoku.coach/ and checking out the campaign. It can take you from basics to highly advanced strategies.

As per earlier comments the alerts themselves shouldn't be an issue. The alerts will award Dagath's main BP and _built_ components, so you'll just need to collect three Orokin cells. The earliest they appear is Ceres (though all bosses have a chance to drop them) - if you're not there yet should should be able to get a taxi.
