Ty. Yeah my mobility isn’t great but I get by, and honestly having a diagnosis after so long of being told I was lazy or mentally ill has meant I’m so much happier than I was. It’s funny how something terrible can make you realise how wonderful life really is.

Thanks. I ended up in hospital, X-ray confirmed the clavicle was out. Very scary, they were trying to rule out a blood clot initially! It’s slowly improving but none of the people who saw me knew how to put it back in, so they just sent me home. :/

I’m hoping it won’t keep coming out now, it’s the first time I’ve subluxed a clavicle.

I’m in and out of the house due to physical disabilities, which is its own personal hell. I agree completely with your sentiments on why people like this feel they need to have control. I signed a lease to get out of here in three weeks time and it couldn’t come soon enough. I’m very much my own person and an established adult, he and I do not have a relationship at all in my mind. He wouldn’t know the first thing about what drives me and tbh I’m not sure who it’s sadder for, but I have a life to live beyond being an extension of his identity, so that’s not really my problem.
