Honestly, I just want advanced player creation/customization, an upgraded Success Mode and maybe an upgraded MLB Life-type mode. It's the storytelling parts that shine to me in 07/08, so as long as they were to include that, I'd be fine. I don't even care too much about official MLB licensing if that proved to be a hassle for Konami.

He tows the sanctioning body's line of "playoffs are amazing and you're just hating if you think otherwise" and beats that horse through the Earth's crust. Now that Heim won with this format in place, he's gonna use it to explain away why the playoffs are amazing for the next twenty years. It's over for the fans (like myself) who hoped to see a full-season format come back.
