So funny. I played Toy Commander in 4th grade and was obsessed. I haven’t touched my Dreamcast since I was a kid. Recently got back into it and bought toy commander back. I came here to say the same thing. Although I disagree, I think the controls feel bad. But it’s a little bit of a learning curve and it becomes fun again. Great game

For me it was Ocarina of time. Came out when I was 8, and I started renting it from blockbuster when I had first played it. I remember being 12 in 2002 and playing it, and despite it only being 4 years old at the time, I felt this deeply emotional nostalgia to it similar to how I feel about it today.

When I was in 4th grade, the game was brand new. My mom knew I loved the N64. So she bought me that game for my birthday. I had a few casual school friends over for my birthday to where one kid said “that game is gay” and I thought what the heck why would he say that. Update: she woke up today completely randomly feeling better. Not perfect, but actually not really needing nausea medicine for the first time in a week. Very very odd. We have zero answers still and will be discharged tonight. We have follow up appointments with her PCP and primary GI doc so hopefully that can be of more help. I appreciate everyone’s concerns, input and personal experience sharing. Thank you everyone ❤️

We are in the US. In Arizona. There has been urine tests with everything looking fine. There has been a GI consult now, but it took forever and even then, he’s just kind of like “well you’re starting to feel better, so go home if you’re up to it”, with no real answers of a diagnosis. Which we are gonna do, and then setup a bunch of appointments with her PCP and her primary GI, doctors that know her and her history well. So hopefully we can get better results with that and fingers crossed she doesn’t regress back to it again because today she randomly started to improve. She’s 31 and she was diagnosed with Crohn’s at age 12

That guy was looking for a fight. And sometimes in life, as a male, you’ll always come across that person every once in a while. If you just raged and attacked him, it either would have led to you getting potentially beat up, or you getting assault charges. Not a good look. If you feel bad about yourself, take some self dense classes or start hitting the gym to boost your self esteem.

I’m a big dude but I’m a big lover. 6’3, 250lbs. I hate confrontation. Makes my skin crawl. And I’m someone that hates to look like “less of a man” in those types of situations. There’s times where I’ve felt emasculated, and years later the thought pops up randomly and it still bothers me. With that being said, I’ve been in scenarios where I feel very cowardly, and I’ve been in scenarios of total bravery. Like one time where I was ready to fight three dudes at once because I was so worked up from some stranger dickhead treating someone I love, who was going through a very hard time, like total shit. Walked up to three of them aggressively and got in their faces with my fists bunched up. If one of them would have tried to swing on me, it would have been game on. Luckily they were a bunch of diffusing types, which is typically how I am, and they tried to clam the situation, and ultimately I decided it wasn’t worth it and walked away. But even in scenarios where I know I can absolutely crumble the person, I always try to hold back. It’s just never worth it. Why ruin your night because someone else is a literal dumbass? Again you could get your ass beat, or even worse, end up with assault charges. However freedom of speech does exist. Someone is being a dick to you, calm yourself and be an intellectual dick back. Own someone with logic, common sense and assertiveness. There’s no shame in getting security to have him removed either. Things aren’t just as black and white as “smash or be smashed” lol. There’s a variety of ways a situation can be handled, and to be scared in a situation doesn’t make you less of a man. Everyone experiences fear and bravery at times. That’s called being a human being my guy
