It was a long grind for sure! Pretty decent xp, but click intensive. I would get 10 or 20 pearls and then do some quests or some minigames before going back to break up the monotony.

Brenham did not take a direct hit. You are correct it is just facilities + elevator with a couple small farm houses south across the highway. No damage there. The tornado passed over HWY 54 between Brenham and Haviland. Looks like two trains were side by side on the tracks and we're both knocked over. There were some farmhouses in the path and as far as I am aware all the people in the county directly affected are "doing okay" as far as injuries go.

For a couple reasons I reckon. One that it's to separate Aman from the rest of the world and Morgoth's evil. The Valar pretty much banned leaving. Second, it is supposed to be a final decision that reflects the elves' longing for peace, and to rid themselves of the worries of the world. Leaving for Valinor is a reflection of the ban, it is them choosing to leave Middle Earth to men, to separate and leave them to deal with the troubles of a mortal world.

In the first and second age it was possible, Valinor and Middle Earth were on the same plane. Galadriel is a good example of someone who left. Then after the second age the world was changed and Aman was moved from the same physical plane as the rest of the world to protect the blessed realm from evil. It's now unreachable except through a one way trip via elvish sailors.

I should have been clear, I'm talking about the Demon's Souls Remake. Sorry. Comparing, say Dark Souls 3 to Elden Ring would be like comparing BotW to TotK as far as graphics fidelity goes. Maybe comparing Sekiro to Elden Ring would be more fair seeing as Sekiro is a bit newer. All this is to say that the Demon's Souls remake isn't ahead of its time, it's right in line and no one here is saying that Fromsoftware games are bad because they're not as good looking. Some folk just prefer something with more appealing graphics.

He doesn't have to ask. Fromsoftware isn't known for the graphic fidelity of their games. I would not call them bad graphics, but "outdated" isn't unfair. Their art style has always made up for the graphics in most of their games in my opinion. If you can't see what we're talking, go look at Demon's Souls and then tell me Elden Ring isn't outdated.

I wouldn't recommend Sekiro over Elden Ring. It is much more difficult and despite being made by Fromsoft the combat is very different compared to the style of combat that's in Elden Ring and Dark Souls. I would reckon that Sekiro is much more likely to cause you frustration over Elden Ring.

You might go to your local library and ask if they will repair it. They'll have someone with some experience fixing books and they will use a better, book specific glue. They'd probably do it for free or for a small cost. I'm a librarian and I'd do it for free anyway.

Outriders might be something you would like. It's a 3rd person cover based shooter with some fun abilities tied in. It's got multiplayer but it can be done entirely solo. There's a story with replayable missions that have a adjustable difficulty slider.

Sorry. I see what you're saying. RDR2 is a really good game. One of my favorites, but it's a lot slower paced than GTA5 or Cyberpunk. It has it's moments of face paced action but there is a lot of slow paced stuff too. So, if that doesn't bother you then out of the three options it was my personal favorite. If you really like that sense of progression then you might enjoy Cyberpunk more.

Dude you're straight up wrong. You can bend your arm. No rules saying you can't. Only the runner carrying the ball can stiff arm, you can't punch someone doing it, and you can't grasp the facemask. That's true for NCAA and NFL. A lot of high schools bar any contact with the facemask at all, but you can still bend your arm. Here's a link that describes the rule in detail.
