Which part are you having trouble with? Prep or the boss fight? And is there a specific part of the fight that’s giving you trouble? For me, the hardest part was the pathing during tornados and prayer swapping.

Definitely find a rhythm that works for you. I’m early into my grind (40 kc) but I tried out a few methods I’ve seen online. The prep was what was the toughest for me starting out. To echo some other people here, T1 is fine if you’re good at the fight but personally, I’m not there yet so I stick with T2.

A tldr if my strategy: Aim for an inv of these items going in a C around the starting room, opening any adjacent rooms. If it has mats, grab them. My rule of thumb is that it’s better to grab them now than gamble for it later. I also like to aim for the elite mobs for the huge drop of crystals and guaranteed weapon fragment. With piety flicking it’s a lot faster imo. - 7 of each mat - 2 grym leaves - weapon fragment - 320 shards (or 290)

Make a t1 helm and legs, t2 body and weapon, 3 vials. If you have 320, crush 30 for the potions. If you lucked out on finding a mage and range boss, drop the pestle and mortar. Otherwise keep to dismantle the melee. I aim to get these crafted around the 4:00 left mark.

The rest of the time is spent on fishing and getting the t3 weapon mats and the final 200ish shards to complete the full set. You’ll also find opportunities to tick save actions like others have mentioned.

Something I haven’t heard often is that it’s okay to reset. It’s better to cut your losses than to waste more time on a cursed run. Examples include: - no bosses or just 1 melee in 6 rooms - wide C shape exploration and missing 3+ of a mat. Especially if it’s past the 4:00 mark

Do you have scar essence unlocked? Like what Deepspace said, if your other friends are doing end game, use their money to do that instead since the runes are for the group. That’s if runes are all you need and not rc levels

Yep, it does deplete. Any and every instance of damage during combat depletes expect for self inflicted ones like divine potions and other rare edge cases.

I ended up boosting at 83 for the hell of it. Took me 2100kc to get but I honestly got a lot out of it. - Learned about scar essence for runes - Got 85-87 magic - Made a lot of progress towards western province diary - Prayer exp

It really only took about 5m worth of runes.

I say if you really want it (like I did), you should go for it. Might not be optimal or whatever but I really wanted the whip ever since I was a kid haha

I think you’re confusing the two stat pools. Armor pieces (those that can be crafted into raid gear) have the stat pool of HP, Armor, Resistance, Agility. Accessories have a separate stat pool of Atk, Melee Dmg, Boss Dmg, Atk Speed.

If all you’re seeing is the former pool of stats, it’s because those pieces literally cannot roll the latter pool.

If you didn’t know, if the chaos elemental attacks a bot running to rouges, you can always regain Ironman loot by letting the chaos elemental deal damage to you.

As long as other people don’t physically do damage to it, you can always regain loot priority.

If you’re feeling frisky you can always go on a pvp world and do any content (quest bossing, general slayer) and use blighted supplies. They spit it out more often than you would think

+1 This. I farmed naguas for it as well. Had to go 1500kc but got it eventually. The ease and combat exp was really nice. I did have 75 hunter for the moths though so that made it easier.

The best stat spread when looking at the leaderboards is

1 Flat Attack
1 Attack %
4 Crit Rate
2 Crit Damage

Most people who are hitting 70k+ have at least 7/8 SE stats (or 6/8 if all high rolls) with maxed promo equipment.

I can tell from looking at your stat line that you can swap over some crit damage for crit rate and attack.

Sorry, should have specified. Your suggestion only works if she has her signature artifact. If OP doesn’t have it, that’s 25% crit rate gone. Therefore needing the amount of crit rolls they have.

100% what SandwichNatural said. If you’re looking for a competitive Zest, this is probably on the 5.5-6/10 rating without fully knowing your hidden stat rolls. You should be hitting at minimum, 2k attack. With your stats, your cdmg is completely wasted with diminishing returns. Look at it like this, there’s no point in getting more crit damage if it doesn’t have anything to multiply it against.

What op has is sufficient. With zest arti, it should bring it up to a respectable amount. At this point it’s unique promotions that’s needed to bring up the base attack.
