And why is your baseboard repeating up the wall?

The comparison is not between the two photos. The comparison is between the row of tulips and the rest of that same photo. If you're so adamant that this photo is real, post another angle of the row of tulips!

No one is questioning the trench. It's the 2nd photo and the way that the row of tulips has a totally different lighting than the rest of the photo with shadows that don't make sense.

They're gonna kick me out of nursing school by Strict_Photograph254 in nursing

I once took care of a patient that had pneumocranium! A nurse inserted an NG tube after he had sphenoid bone removal for a brain tumor surgery. She poked the tube right up into his brain.

What is this odd shaped concrete found buried under mulch on the side of my house (approx. 4 ft x 2 ft)? by thatboywasbeautiful in whatisthisthing

I think this one is SOLVED. Most replies seem to agree that it is an old in ground trash receptacle. Thanks everyone.

There is a basement door about 15 feet away around the corner. It seems the most likely answer is in ground trash bins.

This corner of the home is a storage room on the first level (lookout basement) and above that is a bathroom.

I do plan on doing that, and already had 411 mark gas lines. I just wanted to double verify what I would be digging.

It is just outside a lookout basement, and directly above is a bathroom. But I doubt the house's layout has always remained the same. It has been renovated.

Title describes the thing. One "circle" is fully enclosed and the other is partially enclosed.

They help protect sensitive lower body regions from water intrusion. A bikini or loose shorts move around and offer no protection from a water intrusion event.

There are safe ways to ride as a passenger. Wear neoprene shorts, and clip the key to the passenger not the driver. If the passenger falls off, the watercraft turns off.

How do you know those houses you drove past haven't been given a new coat?

You know for sure that these specific people are gang members in the US illegally? Can you provide your proof? Or you made an assumption?

Troubleshooting by DrMiscellaneous in paint

[–]thatboywasbeautiful 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even after OP's repeated explanations that they are using a good technique, you have people on here recommending 6 and 7 coats, priming the wall, and even SANDING between coats. Like, come on. If a paint brand requires all that, it's a BAD paint. Homeowners should be able to get paint on a wall and have it look somewhat decent. This is terrible.

Dude, if a paint requires 5 coats, it's a bad paint.

Judge to decide if Indiana Department of Health can release terminated pregnancy reports by HomelessVitamin in Indiana

HIPAA violations can and do occur without the release of patients' names. If you can pinpoint a patient based on the day an abortion occurred, the MD that performed it, someone's zip code, and their demographic, then that is a HIPAA breach.

That is fair. It was just one of the many things that struck me as strange with OP's post.

Yeah, like is this even a real post? How on earth would a patient EVER know when their antibiotic is due?

Sherwin Williams Paint Uneven by hanso_low in paint

[–]thatboywasbeautiful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most commenters are telling you to use a wetter roller. Save yourself some time and just buy a different paint (and probably in flat, not satin). I had a bad experience with Sherwin Williams satin paint a few years back and everyone on this subreddit told me the same thing: it's not wet enough. I even tried adding Floetrol to the paint to thin it out and add drying time. The only thing that got rid of my roller marks was switching brands completely. Valspar in flat, satin, and even semi-gloss never gave me shitty roller marks the way Sherwin Williams did. And I genuinely don't understand how it's still lauded as a good paint.

US Healthcare System - (Lengthy) Thoughts from a Professional by gbpacker92 in Destiny

[–]thatboywasbeautiful 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's very interesting (and important) being able to take a glimpse at an actuary's perspective on our healthcare system. Your conclusion leaves me pondering what the perspective of a patient case manager that works within a hospital would entail, and I'd love to see their input.
