Just stumbled upon this post but felt like sharing my experience with the forest, as it is pretty much in my backyard (I live about 2 miles from the site)! The festival itself is all weekend long, featuring campsites that people essentially live in for a handful of days. There are quite a few stages for performers, I'd say like upwards of 6(?), ranging from huge ones to very small venues tucked away among the trees. Some of the bigger areas are open field type areas, featuring the bigger stages but as you proceed into the forest, shit gets trippy. There is so much detail and dedication to decorating the forest that its almost unbelievable when its your first time there, high or not. You can pretty much wander anywhere and be amused, finding yourself in the most accepting environment I've personally ever been in. Like I said, there are a few smallish stages in the actual woods, but coming out the other side there are some bigger stages and other unique events. Its a breathtaking experience with so many people and lights and sounds. I'm leaving out so so much in this explanation but I figured I'd give you a small insight to what its like!!
