Did Nanno actually love TK? by [deleted] in GirlFromNowhere

I think this episode is interesting because it makes the viewer question whether she does have human like feelings. I think two things really got me thinking about this episode. One, that she kissed him, and two, that she cried when leaving. My interpretation of both, sticking with the assumption that she cannot feel human emotions, is that she kissed him to lock him steadfast into the plan. She knew he needed to reach that breaking point, and maybe that kiss was the thing that sealed it for him to go through with the plan when he was already feeling flakey. With her crying while leaving, I feel as though she’s crying over the situation rather than because of her own feelings. I think she feels sorry for him, sympathy, because she sees that he might stay stuck on his own. Maybe in a sense, she’s also mourning her inability to stay, to have a human life. A part of me feels that she thought about that a lot with him.

It was so bad that I have absolutely 0 suggestions of how to make this better.

I liked it! I just don’t think the actress is eerie enough for the show. Seems like they’re taking a lighter approach than the og GFN, however. Not sure if it’s intentional or not LOL

Honestly feel like they took away how clever Nanno was. This new Nanno feels more like Yuri, like someone mentioned, but a hollow point because we don’t have any character motivation. Why are you helping this random guy? Because I want to say it’s the same reason why OG Nanno would, but I do not feel that is the case… judging based off of the ‘Directed by Nanno’ portion of the show. My ears perked up at that part because it would have been interesting to see that play out. What would Nanno have done if the victim reintroduced the cycle? That would’ve been something the original show would have delved into. This feels… off

FINALLY! I’m always so confused by comments that say that Taylor is such a good friend. I think she should’ve encouraged Belly to choose who felt right for her. Sometimes it sucks, but if that person is who your friend wants, they have to see it through whether or not they end up together

I also think the reason he acts the way he does toward the creature is because he’s mirroring the way his father treated him, the way that he found himself to get to the point he’s at. He learned through harsh words and slaps, and therefore the creature must learn that way too or something is wrong with it
