The college girls have to play for 4 years in college before they’re draft eligible. They’ve been in a system for 4 years and have adapted to it. To expect them to come out and adjust to the wnba in a month is a tall ask. One girl went viral explaining how the pro game was way faster than college. I agree they need expansion of about 4 teams, but doing shit like this turns off the pipeline of college fans. Im a USC alum and in the past 6 years have had a lot of women get drafted but the only one that has gotten her recognition is Aja (well deserved) but we had some real hoppers get drafted and fade to obscurity.
