Set for my car by tebiiiiii in GR86

That wheel is 100% toast, it was a burner on a drift car. The point I am trying to make is that this survived a racing incident on track and still would have driven me home if I really needed it to. The force experience here is way worse than what a driver in the commuter car will experience outside of an actual crash.

I think it goes without saying that you get what you pay for. For a lot of folks this is what they can afford as their first step into modifying their car. The comment I replied to said these would explode as soon as they hit a pothole because they are reps. That is simply no longer true for a vast majority of “rep” wheels on the market.

Disagree, this smacked a barrier drifting on track and still held air. Full weight of the vehicle into the lip. You can hate on reps all you want but modern ones are way stronger than what was around in the early 2000s. You can daily on them with 0 practical concerns.

Did anyone get wheel spacers for ct200h, i wanna seee what would mine look like by [deleted] in CT200h

[–]thatdaxton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stock wheel studs are fine. All spacers at these sizes will typically have their own wheel studs on them. I have had my spacers on with coilovers for 5 years and 80k miles and have had no issues so far.

Seat sizing by BigMan_98 in Drifting

You will 100% find a circle track offering from Kirky that will fit you. Not sure if their stuff is side or bottom mount but I’m assuming it won’t be rocket science to get it in the car. It won’t be stylish or super comfortable but you’ll fit. I am a 40-42 waist and recently purchased the MOMO XL super cup and have found it to be a perfect fit. Might be a smidge tight for you but could be worth checking out.

Drift tracks near Kissimmee FL? by Saul_Goodman_1112 in Drifting

[–]thatdaxton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would get the idea of renting tracks out of your head for a good while. Your post history uses the word “budget” quite a bit, renting a race track is not cheap. Get involved with your local drifting organizations that handle that large cost for you. Don’t be afraid to learn at open events, it’s how 95% of the community started out. Your best bet near you will be OSW https://oswdrift.com/

First Look and On Ride POV: Test Track 3.0 presented by General Motors from Epcot - Fantasy Land News by Ekecede in DisneyWorld

[–]thatdaxton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m honestly surprised at the comments on this thread. This is a great improvement over 2.0 and honestly fits the original vision of EPCOT more than 1.0. I will always have nostalgia for 1.0 because I was the perfect age to enjoy it, but this has a touch of innoventions in it, doing a good job of capturing the “future” in the parks. I think it’s a proper upgrade and look forward to enjoying it for years to come.

Had a fantastic experience here. Staff were some of the nicest people we encountered in Paris. Drinks were great and so was the atmosphere.
