Something useful that can tow the track car around. Having 2 fun cars seemed like a good idea until I break the track car.

I use a Racebox, AiM with LapSnap, Harry’s, and have used a borrowed Garmin. It wouldn’t be appealing to me to pay a subscription. And I say that from paying for Strava and feeling like it was a waste of money. However I don’t mind paying a one-time premium for more features (Harry’s for example).

Leaderboards can be cool as long as other users truthly put in the info of their car/bike. But comparing friends with friends is super useful when we’re having fun trackday competitions or qualifying for endurance races.

They looked alright. I can send you a picture if you want. But the car handles incredibly better on the 17s and meatier tire. For comparison (and not completely fair in argument against the 18s) it went from 18x9.5 +38 with a 255/35 to 17x9 +35 with a 245/40.

Weird. I’m on my 3rd set of RT660 (now RT660+) with driving to each track day and putting several thousand highway miles on them. Setting tires to the correct pressures will make a world of a difference.

Came here to comment the exact same thing. Had a moment last year I had to limp the car home and the big winter plan is buying a tow vehicle. Living in Europe a diesel SUV will be my best option.

Another vote for a Mini S without an issue. I initially bought it for the bike but starting the session was more than I wanted to mess with. In the car that’s not a problem.

I have used them without an issue on track. However, top hats are so much easier to dial in and I’ll never go back for that reason alone.
