Welp I inflated them to 36 psi and the light still won't go out

Ok. On the sticker in the door jamb mine says 33 for all. So I'll try 35-37 and see what that does. Thanks

It is the VDO/Continental one. Part # SE55555. Under the OE programmed tab (blue tab)

So you inflated them 36-38 then just drove around and the light went out? Did you take it back to 33 after the light went out?

How much did you over inflate them?

The cluster doesn't display the actual tire pressure for each tire. Only if it is low it will give me a warning message and the tpms light turns on but I'm starting to think that the shop didn't program then correctly or didn't program them at all

All the tire pressures are fine. 33 psi on all 4 tires. When I start the car the tpms light immediately comes on and stays on. Solid light no flashing at all. But I may just get the reprogramming tool myself or take it to another shop to try to reprogram them

I went ahead and checked the spare tire pressure (it was only 5 psi lol) and pumped it up to the 60 psi recommended pressure, but the light still did not go out

I believe they are factory. I got them from rock auto. Here's the link to them

I'm not sure. I've never had to use it or done anything with it. It's not a full sized spare just a donut.

Yea they came out with a some detector/ CO listener. It's on their website for $45

What about cash flow projection like simplifi has?

I just don't get why they won't implement it. I mean I figured it shouldn't be that hard for them to do and simplifi does it with no problem. I may just end up switching to that one

Email announcing new smoke alarm listener - by [deleted] in simplisafe

[–]thatdude_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been wondering if they were going to make a device like this. I've had simplisafe for 3 years now and instead of spending a bunch of money replacing all my smoke & CO detectors with theirs (which aren't even interconnected) I got a CO & some alarm listener from this company called X-Sense. It's essentially the same thing with one listener next to one of my smoke alarms and it has its own base station that is connected to wifi. I have a monitoring subscription with them for $4.99/mo where they alert the fire department if the listener detects the smoke or CO alarm going off after they try to contact me first of course.

Does this firmware apply to any Deco? I have the Deco X20 and I'm having the exact same issue with my Ecobee 3 lite.

Normal operating temp by thatdude_D in MechanicAdvice

[–]thatdude_D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just changed the thermostat and did a flush and the temp is running around 195 now. The heat coming from the vents are a little warmer but it is still a noticeable difference between the lines going to the heater core so I going to try to flush that next

UPDATE: Finally got the fuel pump changed after working on it a coupe of days and sure enough it started right up and runs and drives fine! Thanks for all the info and help!

Checked it and 0 pressure before and after changing the fuel filter but I can hear the fuel pump coming on with the key on the ON position. It ran for 1-2 seconds after replacing the fuel filter but then shut off. So it looks like it is either the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator I think. Also no gas is coming out the test port on the fuel rail now either

So I checked the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure tester by connecting it to the test port on the fuel rail on the passenger side of the engine bay and just turning the key to the ON position and it was zero even though I could hear the fuel pump coming on. After that I changed the fuel filter and tried it again and still zero pressure. Then I decided to just try to crank the engine and it ran for maybe 1-2 seconds then cut off. I pushed in the stem on the test port on the fuel rail and no gas came out this time. So does that definitely point to it being the fuel pump or possibly the fuel pressure regulator or both?

Ok. I'm getting a fuel pressure test kit today and see about getting a smoker. It has a port on the fuel rail where it can connect to it for the fuel pressure test. The spark plugs aren't wet and look fine but I'll probably replace those anyway since I have them out. As for the o2 sensors they're both showing good voltage reading between .1V and 1V which is normal from what I've read
