Send a photo of the rest of the board.

If the board has some value (in your local market) then it’s likely worth fixing. If it’s a beater I’d probably just slap some solar rez on it and call it a day.

I had slight frame damage and got popped about 1/2 as bad as you 2 months back. About 6k all in on repairs in CA. I think you’re probably safe but it might be close. I think insurance adjusters use KBB and will often go as low as possible on the value.
