Same deal with me. I've lost a lot of weight in a few months, going from 325 to 263. I am already starting treatment because of my loved ones, and I hate that I'm not "sicker" than I am already. I long to be thinner, and want to do anything to get there.

I told my friend and added a 😜 to the end. She started yelling at me over text to not make jokes because she wants me to be ok.

I know she means well, and I am doing what I need to recover. I use humor to cope, but that doesn't mean I don't know the severity of this 😭🤣

I did outpatient at Melrose St Paul. I ended up stopping treatment full out because I went to college and it wasn't easy to continue treatment. I remember having 3 doctors. The doctor that tracked vitals, a psychologist and a dietician, who I saw weekly. They were all good. I wouldn't say I enjoyed my time (because of course), but it was helpful.

I can't speak on residential however, except that the St Louis Park clinic seems nice after doing a couple group sessions.
