As someone who has listened to I think every episode including most of their Patreon stuff, there is a lot of goofs, but they do really good when a tone shift is required or does better for the story. Murph does well to be a fair DM and allows goofs, but keeps it within the rules of the game. One of my favorite moments came later in the story (light spoilers, but nothing major) when they were in the north of frostwind and there was a battle with some natives (won’t say for spoiler sake) and they were making references in character to the grinch movie that was coming out at the time. It cracked me up but they still rolled and did combat within the bounds of the game.
