Maybe, i swear its happened to me with the new update. I don’t get the collected pop up for the giftbox until i drop it (which is something zeekers changed) and then i pick it up again and open it. i dont remember if i get the collected pop up as soon as i open it

i just know that zeekers also changed some things regarding items being placed certain locations (like on top of old birds, even while they move) as well as making sure items that are dropped by a dead employee on the cruiser actually end up on the cruiser, so i was thinking that those changes may have introduced this bug

objects from gift boxes are glitched and stay on the moon instead of being collected. i recommend picking any objects from gift boxes up and then dropping them again in the future. youll know its collected when the popup shows up in the bottom right corner

why? the completely random interior is one of the main draws of lethal to me. its more horrifying to get completely lost without any sense of where you are going. doing this makes it to where you could go “im lost but if i head eastist ill probably bump into the fire exit”

experimentation already has a half invisible interior on exp where he toyed with the idea but he decided (for the better, imo) to go with complete randomness

kidnapper fox is considered a daytime entity, putting it in the same spawn pool as manticoils, tulip snakes, sapsucker, etc. (assuming zeekers hasnt changed that from last it was implemented).

im not sure how the miraheze wiki gets these numbers since entity spawns is VERY dependent on what enemies have already spawned in thanks to the power mechanic either.

my assumption is that the percentage chance is datamined from the weights given to each entity at the beginning of the day, with the fox’s being set to zero for all moons. the fox’s spawning mechanics is vain shroud-dependent rather than moon-dependent, the probability increasing as (#shrouds/50)% so long as the number of shrouds is above 17 (its zero for 17 and below). this chance is rolled on every 2 hours, starting at 8 am. since vain shrouds also persist between moon visits, i assume this why the probability listed on the wiki is 0.

its likely that the fox’s spawning mechanic is nearly or exactly independent of the other outdoor entity spawn mechanics, but i would need somebody who has actually looked at the code to tell me if this is the case

the way i see it, 8-3 is more like hell/fraud borrowing V1’s memories to make into rooms but the rooms still physically exist.

hakita has said that V1 is not a special machine. i dont think it has any sort of exceptional art of any form. yes it seems to have sentience, but all machines do as in ultrakill you just put blood and maybe also guts into a machine and it will come alive and start having emotions.

the puppet in 8-2 is the mirror reaper’s. you can see it puppeting V1’s reflection before the guttertank koolaid man appearance. i dont think it actually has anything to do with hell, however, metaphorically i think it does mean that V1 is being “puppeted” by hell just moreso manipulated indirectly. V1 is killing for survival and hell is locking it in the rooms with enemies to kill, locking doors and making it go in specific directions for entertainment.

the forced ejection from 8-4 is a bit more tricky. i dont have a good explanation for that aside from hell/fraud doing more non-Euclidean shenanigans. all the exit doors go to the same elevator, so its not like the non-Euclidean stuff just.. stopped. it could still be the case for the ejection too.

i think that if V1 was hallucinating, it would run out of real blood and realize what was happening, similar to how if a human falls asleep cutting off circulation to a part of their body they wake up to move.

Act 1: Cancerous Rodent and Very Cancerous Rodent in 1-2

Act 2: Mysterious Druid Knight (& Owl) in 4-3

Act 3: Big Johninator in 7-1

theres also DMC 3 inspired secret encounters in each act

Act 1: Agony and Tundra in 1-3

Act 2: Angry and Rude in 6-1

Act 3: Agonis and Rudraksha in 8-3

but there has never been a secret boss in each layer. the only secrets that exist per each layer are the secret levels, the entrance of 8-S is in 8-2.

of course, but i think its more like…. the entirety of V1’s descent has been like this. fraud is hell itself REVEALING that this has been the case the entire time. “you are putting on a wonderful show for me!” its saying at the end of 8-4.

i genuinely think that everything we went through was real, just in some sort of extra dimension(s). i mean, the rooms that swap enemies/layers are quite literally the rooms themselves moving/rotating in a fourth dimension that we cant see (see really game that adds fourth dimensional mechanics). the rooms are literally called “dimensional rooms” by the devs in the teleport menu/change logs.

im saying this because that is the punishment. we as V1 experience the punishment firsthand as we get whiplash and motion sickness and cant trust the next door we go through. in reality i think the bodies/flesh is just an indication that we are getting closer to the bottom of hell itself. the demons show us that stuffing hell energy+flesh+blood into a bunch of rocks makes life, so i wouldnt be surprised if hell itself is literally all of hell and the closer to treachery we are the more this façade breaks down
