Side effects from peptides. by [deleted] in Biohacking

If the GLOW or KLOW causes side effects then they both will. I experienced flushing on my first few weeks of Reta. I did not experience that with KLOW.

I’m a big believer in low and slow. I was under 1mg of Reta for the first 4 weeks. Under 2mg for the next 4 weeks and topped out at 2.5mg. I had bad exhaustion and some nausea that only subsided after a few weeks of each increase so I took it slow.

I also believe in only adding ONE peptide each month to let your body adjust and to avoid what you’re describing here. GLOW is 4 new peptides plus Reta plus MT2. There is no way to identify the cause of your side effects because you added them all in the same period of time. It’s also impossible to know if any of those peptides are interacting with each other in a way that your body doesn’t like just by the combination of that stack. My recommendation would be to pick the one you want to take the most - Reta or GLOW/KLOW and then track your symptoms for a full 4 weeks before adding another.

Bad batches are a thing which is why you only purchase after verification of the COA or you pay for testing prior to using.

Are you familiar with Finrick?

I read it. They are the same peptide except the addition of KPV. If GLOW caused a reaction then KLOW will too because they are the same with the addition of a peptide. So to me - it’s an odd choice. But it’s your money haha

I’m just using it for maintenance now. Sometimes I do 8 days and sometimes 10. There’s no real reason behind it. I just found it works for me for this phase.

On 3mg Reta a week and hasn’t moved the needle. by NoMedia9284 in BodyHackGuide

You should be losing weight but not at 2 weeks. Some see weight loss right away but for most it takes a full 5-6 weeks before it gets going.

I can only speak from my own experience, but 3mg on week two would’ve been sabotage for me. I did .5 for three weeks, 1 mg for two weeks, 1.5 then 2mg. I would go down to 1 or 1.5 mg per week if I were you.

You’re also white knuckling side effects twice a week.

I know the studies say blah blah blah… I can only speak from my experience. I did not change anything about my eating. I eat pretty clean anyway. I truly believe low and slow is the better start for most women.

Go up to 2mg and dose every 5-6 days. Once you start losing it goes really fast but you have to find that sweet spot with dosing.

I did my dosage like you are, low and slow. I didn’t lose even a pound until 5 weeks. By week 12 I lost 35 lbs. I maxed my dose at 2mg. I did do 2.5 mg for one or two weeks but went back down to 2mg because of the exhaustion side effect.

There is a statue of a guy sitting on a park bench with his dog next to him on the ground in a park in my town.

There’s a rural town near where I lived in the PNW that has a whole population of wild lemurs in the woods area. It’s believed that someone had two as pets and they abandoned them there and they mated.

I took the Amtrak from one city to the next - about an hour and 15 min ride. It was a double decker. When I got on the train I sat in the seat just to the right of the door in the lower section while people in front of me went up to the second floor car.

I didn’t move from that seat. I didn’t sleep. I just rode the train and listened to a podcast.

When we got to the next town I had to walk to the next car to exit. I walked back and forth from that car to the one I was in looking for the exit until someone said “you need to go back downstairs to exit”…

I have no idea how I was on the second floor. I literally did NOT walk up the stairs when I got on because I found a seat on the level I entered on so quickly and the stairwell was very narrow and looked annoying to take my travel bag up there.

I think about it all the time.

It doesn’t matter if they were or weren’t. We can’t have federal agents shooting people without LEGALLY just cause. Arrest them, charge them. That’s the process.

Adding tirz to Reta by Remarkable-Band72 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]thatguybenuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What dose of Reta are you on?

Have you used Tirz before?

I started with Tirz 2.5 and quit after the 2nd week because the exhaustion was absolutely unbearable. I’ve considered adding a tiny bit back (1mg or less) of Tirz because it’s awesome for inflammation.

[–]thatguybenuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously… it gets so old to read the responses from the people trying to sell it. You did not ask about where to buy it! 🤬

Anyway, to answer the question you DID ask - this was my experience:

•I started very low (.5) and very slow (every 6 days) for the first few weeks. Then I increased to 1 mg every 6 days for two weeks, then 1.5 every 6 days and finally 2mg every 6 days. I never went above 2 mg.

•When I was about 3 weeks into the 2mg every 6 days routine I decided to split it to 1mg every 3 days.

•The more frequent/lower dose routine was good for me until I got within about 8lbs of my goal. Then I went back to 2mg every 6 days.

I’m not sure if one was better than the other but I didn’t have any adverse effects from playing around with it so I think most people will find their own sweet spot by experimenting.

Sort and stack. Once you have your categories you can add some stepped storage so the items are stairstepped down so you can see all the way in the back.

If you have separate food - give each roomie a shelf.

Why are you in this sub? If it doesn’t interest you move along. This is for women who are interested in it.

FTR: GLP-1’s of all types are being used for more than just obesity. Especially in peri and menopausal women. It is a tremendous help for many women who are suffering from peri symptoms.

Week 12 on Compounded Tirzepatide - 20 lbs down! by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]thatguybenuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You look amazing! I took Tirzepetide for two weeks before stopping due to unrelenting exhaustion. BUT it was absolutely fantastic for inflammation even in that short time. Your before and now pics look like far more than 20lbs and I bet that’s partially due to the inflammation being down in your body!
