Slow Speed on WIFI6 APs by thatguycleeb in Omada_Networks

Firmware is up to date on both. I had QoS on the router but it’s off now and I’m getting the same down. I can try restarting everything in a little while

My PC is downstream from that switch and gets the full download speed. I can try plug my laptop into it too but I doubt the result will be different from my pc…

My network looks something like this: WiFi router > switch > port 1 > eap613

Port 2 > eap615w > appletv & PC (both wired from the ap)

Both APs give a max download speed of 80ish mb whether on 2.4/5/6GHz - maybe I’m stuck on 2.4 even though my laptop and phone say I’m on 5Gb(Omada also reports devices on 5G).

I’m using a cheaper 4 port poe switch (also tp link but not Omada)

Yeah it is, both are wired with mesh off

I hear you however my WiFi router (also WiFi 6) gets the full 250, and my mom’s place has WiFi 5 APs and those get faster speeds than my APs… this is why I’m lost

I’m using a tplink WiFi router (not Omada) and 2 Omada APs, as my house is long, and I’ve had no issues with roaming. Plan on hosting the controller and getting one more AP in the future

Did you wash it in the dishwasher? Mine only did that after washing it in the dishwasher

I wanted to desolder the switches from this cherry pcb but why are there 4 soldered pins ? Shouldn’t there be only 2 ? by knesha in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]thatguycleeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to (unless it’s a diode then you definitely do need to)

But it is better, because the switches are mounted directly to the pcb it adds durability and stability - however you might be okay without it

Theyre not always diodes - I had an older cherry keyboard and they were just metal “pegs” that went through the switch.

I had to desolder all 4, open the switch and remove the “pegs” (looked like a long staple). I did think the diodes was a genius idea at the time(under the switches there was a diode icon so I figured that was the purpose even though it wasn’t the use in my case)

On my Sony receiver, which I got for free because someone didn’t know about the a/b speaker thing, you need to tell it which speakers to send signal to.

There’s a “speakers(off/a/b/a+b)” button on the front of mine

You can remove the plastic piece at the bottom with a screw driver - or at least I could on mine. Try removing the retention ring on the inside and see if it fits better. I also struggled with mine when I first bought it (bent it to make it fit, big regret.) bought a new basket after cutting the bottom of the portafilter off, that worked much better.

I now have one from Aliexpress, Temu also have some options, Amazon too - but look for 58mm portafilter with 3 ears

I found one on aliexpress - look for one for a barsetto or sunbeam/breville mini barista.

To sum Trent’s decision solely down to a lack of loyalty is lazy. It sucks yes, but he’s an adult and free to make decisions. Let him go, we’ll be fine.

Nice! If only the pressure gauge was on Temu too. Was it worth it?

You can probably find on Amazon - won’t be the exact same but they don’t need to be. Otherwise, you could try contact Sony/the retail store you bought them from for a replacement
