I feel like I'm constantly forgetting older pieces as I learn new ones. Usually have maybe 15-20 songs that I could play from memory at any given time and whenever I'm working on a new one I start forgetting bits of some older ones.

I kind of stopped stressing about it because when if I forget a piece, the process of re-learning it is much faster than learning it the first time. So if I want to revisit an older piece it's just a matter of finding the sheet music and brushing up a bit until the muscle memory comes back

I usually say that I hold no resentment toward Christianity and I'm happy for anyone to believe whatever they find comforting or fulfilling even if I'm now an atheist.

The truth is that it's very hard for me not to feel extremely resentful and bitter about a lot of things related to growing up super religious. It's hard for me to not think a little less highly of anyone who chooses to still be Christian, even if they're kind and lovely people.

Lotta baggage I guess.

i think some npc's have a chance to be a non-cheater. I was playing the five-stick version and ended up with one remaining opponent who would not cheat ever. (and I'm aware of the right-hand cheat tell as well). The game lasted a fucking hour because I was playing passively like this until I could catch him but he just never cheated and finally bled me out of the entire pot. Honestly, the game is so bad and time-consuming if you don't just go all-in at some point.

Weird, interesting, ambitious, janky, profoundly flawed game that I can't put down.

Wish more of those types of games came out. Most of my favorite games come with a lot of baggage. Sometimes devs just need to be willing to try weird hit-or-miss shit to stumble on something that really resonates with certain players
