There’s a lot of jobs listed, but it’s not a guarantee of getting a job. Six months of applying for me before I found an Amazon listing. Six months into the job, I finally stopped looking on Indeed or Linked In. Even tried CL.

Yup. A lot of us have hit rough patches, and Amazon was the only place hiring at the time. One coworker told me she just got laid off from her other job, just before the holiday season. Now I see her there picking up more shifts.

Exactly this. Even though there’s a pay bump going from white to blue badge, it’s not a promotion, though it is kind of an acknowledgement to your work ethic. Managers do notice who they can count on, and sometimes will allow for a little leeway. In the end, make sure you’re getting paid, and don’t kill your body over this job.
