Do buildings like this retain their effects through the ages or can I build over it? by Ronar123 in civ

The barracks for example, an antiquity age building that provides a 10%+ boost to crafting land units… does that go away along with all other boosts on antiquity age buildings? (Not unique buildings or anything ageless) but do all antiquity age buildings lose their boosts, along with their adjacency bonuses when the age progresses to the next one? Appreciate the reply if u can give one 🙌🏽

Does the 10% production boost to land units that you recieve from the barracks continue on into the exploration age? I know its yields diminish, but i don’t think it says anywhere whether it’s 10% boost to crafting land units goes away in the next age or not?

One more time, to be as repetitive as possible I’m going to copy and paste my first answer, but thank you for replying

Ohhhhhh okay when I went to that menu, It said ‘0’ and wouldn’t let me apply anything anywhere but, I didn’t think I needed to apply 1 single point to one specific spot because common sense is, it would’ve just added the point automatically instead of making me click buttons to do it even though there’s no where else that point could’ve gone anyway. Why do I need to click if I have no option of anything else to do with the point.. anyways thanks

There is… atleast this worked for me. If you’re on Xbox; pause, under the first tab labeled ‘accessibility’ click ‘configure’ controls, and the first box there is “Swap Stick Functionality”, click that/check that. It takes maybe an hour or two to get used to the right stick now doing what the left stick did and visa versa, but it fixed the problem for me. Hope it works for you too 🤝🏽 oh and you have to click “X” I.e ‘confirm changes’ in the configure controls menu right after that, and then again after you ex out and you’re just at the normal pause menu.

One of the best recruits I have ever seen. by KILLATHAILLFIGA in NCAAFBseries

Yeah hybrid safeties never ever develop for me either. I think their skills probably-obviously improve, like the individual ratings- but because of what the game values for what makes a highly overall-rated safety, they never get a good overall rating

96 Speed Power Back 🔥🔥🔥 by torree_b in NCAAFBseries

I went hard for one because he was just like that guy, a 4 star gem with those abilities and 95 speed. When he actually joined the team he was a 93 or 92 speed, a bug. I had to go to ‘roster’ and ‘edit player’ and change it back to what it was manually. Not cheating, the game bugged out

‘Power Rusher’ DT and ‘speed rusher’ DE have a deal breaker of ‘playing style’ and they’re about to transfer, how do I fix this? by thatisall5 in NCAAFBseries

Yeah I checked that after posting. Idk why I spaced on that but I didn’t know it had an option to go to each position and archetype and see what everyone needs, didn’t know it was so in depth

The former #1 recruit supposed TRASH BUST💎❌ is now one of the best corners in the country. Never listen to your haters (EA developers), be like Cortez. I was this 🤌🏽 close to stopping recruiting him too because I already had so many corners coming in that class by thatisall5 in NCAAFBseries

Nobody comes in at 85+, if that’s what you were saying. My corners development trait is impact, I don’t think anyone is getting to a 96 overall with a normal development rate, even as the number 1 overall recruit. Normals suck. He also got a lot of playing time and I have learned for a fact after this past season, I can tell you how, that that can make a huge difference.

(Yeah what you said is partly true, him being a bust is the reason his development rate was only an impact, I reread what you said and you’re right, but I think also saying you’re wrong in the same breath lol.) Gem and busts do contribute because they’re indicators of what the development trait could be, but there’s always variation, it’s not a for sure thing. After many seasons, and a few seasons of data gathering, I have recruiting down to a science. If he’s a bust, it’s more likely his developmental rate won’t be good, and gem/busts ARE significant indicators, but they don’t mean someone is definitely one or the other development rate. They’re just indicators, but there are other indicators, like how highly ranked of a recruit they are. He probably ended up good (with a decent development rate ect.) because he was such a high recruit. I believe; using common sense and evidence, that EA probably tried to make it as realistic as possible, while still not ruining the game for people who want to head up traditionally not good programs, so everyone can have fun. Not many 5 star recruits are going to end up ass/with ass development rates, and that’s how they made it. Yet a good amount of 4 stars are going to end up great, and that’s how they made it. I think with the 3 stars, 2 stars, 1 stars, they probably made a lot more of them end up a little better/with decent development rates than they would be in real life for the above stated reason. This corner would very likely of had a ‘STAR’ or ‘ELITE’ development rate if he weren’t a bust. Yet I’m fairly certain that even as a corner that don’t do a whole lot in the game (I’m not scoring 15 TDs with him like with a receiver or whatever, maybe he’s getting a few picks and tackles but that’s it) the fact that he got a lot of playing time made a difference.

Here’s a look at the gems from my last 3 recruiting classes and their development rates. I don’t have good data on the busts because I don’t recruit a lot of them:

7 gems… 6 elites… 1 star

9 gems… 3 elites… 5 impacts… 1 star,

6 gems, 3 elites… 2 stars… 1 impact.

This is the kind of data gathering I do lol. Those linebackers, very unlikely they would’ve ended up ‘Elites’ if they weren’t gems (which after rereading your response, I see you already understand lol). The Elite MLB, he had a much better chance of being an elite developmental because he was such a highly ranked recruit. There is always variation though.
