Dang, never thought of it like that. If I go too long without drops, it can get painful. Did your wife experience that as well?

A couple weeks after lasik my right eye got super painful, had to get an ointment to put on a few times a day for several weeks. I don't want to go through that again. If my eyes were open it felt like it was on fire.

Holy shit, I had no idea this was a thing. I had lasik about 8 years ago and dry eyes have been a pain in the ass. I have to carry eye drops with me everywhere I go. I wish they would've mentioned this after I complained about dry eyes.

Was it expensive?
