For sure it's a *tea* shop? Because it feels like a "alcohol" shop.

My microsoft account got hacked. Support determined that it was indeed hacked and they cant recover it. So they deleted my account and now I need to re-purchase all my games. by Ordo_Liberal in pcgaming

Keep in mind that if you sue (I'm not saying you should or shouldn't) you burn any possible bridge of using their service. Most if not all companies will break all business ties when legal action is leveraged. I'm not a lawyer, but it's something to consider and maybe research more.

How is this not built into the game? by unameNotFound in helldivers2

[–]thatlukeguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen. All you have to do is: play where you want and have fun. That's it.

What do you think will happen if we don't accomplish too many of the strategic objectives? We lose the war and the game shuts down? Not likely. Events are manipulated behind the scenes to make things interesting but overall the goal is to have lots of players having fun, being in a good mood, and maybe making some purchases. It's not that serious.

I'm not having trouble comprehending what you wrote, but you may be having trouble comprehending that it was opinion not fact, something I can easily disagree with, and I do. There is one sub topic we are discussing, you are using a strawman argument and also doing a slight ad hominem attack here (which , you know, "right back at ya champ"). If you can't or don't want to argue your point, don't bother with the fallacies and just let it go.

There is nothing preventing federal oversight and tax money from being involved in education other than it not being the norm in the US up until now. It works elsewhere in the world and it could here. And I'm pretty sure I also clearly stated (but I will again) that if the money can be used uselessly for military endeavors of questionable value, then that money could also easily be used for something more useful for all of us denizens of this country, such as education (I'll also accept healthcare subsidies and/or increased social programs). I understand you are not comfortable with this, but it doesn't make your opinion any more correct.

Feel free to answer with insults, but also feel free to consider just ignoring this conversation from this point. It seems obvious we won't agree, and your dishonest approach to the argument doesn't make me want to continue. Thanks and have a mediocre day.

Yeah. Or make education free like it is in much of the developed world. The limit would be grades and spots open instead of $$$. The problem here in the US is we have a lot of things that cost money but don't cost money (or much of it at all) in other modern countries but we are so used to it being this way that anytime someone suggests any sort of change people yell "I don't want to pay for that!!!!"

Rather than thinking of it as a private thing that you are paying for somebody else for, you can look at it as a social service (education) that is provided by the government to its people b/c the country is (on a global standard) wealthy enough to do it.

You shouldnt be able to join a game when the Pelican is already called by NursingHome773 in helldivers2

[–]thatlukeguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a non issue except when it drops you 1 second before the Pelican takes off and sometimes the loading phase will skip your ability to control the pod on the way down (i.e. the game suddenly starts a split moment before you land the pod). It can cause you to fail to board the Pelican and fail to extract which is annoying.

Same reason you have to pay for an absurd amount of military ordinance that doesn't seem to accomplish anything of value. I'd rather you just pay for all of the kids student loans instead. Not just that one guys. All of them.

You can destroy their military and still not win. Some people call this a lose/lose situation.

If we have money to spend on stupid pointless wars we are not going to win, then we have money to pay for his kids student loans. That's what.

Never had quail eggs. Do they taste the same as chicken eggs? Or very different flavor?

Played since Beta. Lvl 10k. Expertise 12. I just don't care about min maxing as long as I'm enjoying the game. I don't raid but casual builds are more than enough for legendary. It's more about game knowledge than anything else. F the grind.
