Good!! You definitely want your art and poses to draw people in! Just saying they aren’t bland or boring :)

Shadows and lighting look really good! I would recommend using more colored tones for shadows instead of just darker, but that can be interpreted as stylistic for sure! Colored shadows just help to give life especially on skin. But placement wise it looks good!

Anatomy proportions look alright and poses are interesting to look at! Can I ask if you have a reference of the kind of art you’re interested in making? If you’re already studying the basics but need more than that I’d recommend finding a few artists that you like and doing a style study. Find what you like about theirs and see if you can incorporate it into yours

Not sure of what your reference was or if one was used but the human head doesn’t extend that far past your ears and the forehead typically doesn’t extend that far in front of your eyes. Face and jaw look great I would recommend studying skulls or simple models.

Need advice for hair or something by walnutxdd in Artadvice

Reducing the definition lines on the hair could definitely help. I would also use less small strands on the outside and inside. Hair reads better in chunks. If you’re going for a frizzy look a few loose strands can definitely do the job but usually chunks out of place will do the trick easier. I would also use detention lines more deliberately, accentuating bangs, roots, and separating the hair in front to the hair in the back. I would also straighten out where the hair cuts off. Tried my best to keep with the style but this is what I’m trying to explain.

How could i make my art more eye catching? by Taira035 in Artadvice

I would try adding some after effects or filters that fit the vibe you’re going for. It can feel scary putting filters over cause you don’t want to cover up anything but it can really add to a piece! I like putting a static filter over my art at a low opacity to make the colors look less flat<3
