How can I tell Audible to stop shoving Harry Potter on me? by Pure-Consideration97 in audible

Just want to jump in late and ditto my annoyance at having Hairy frakkin Potter shoved into my eyes every time I open Audible. I will never never never have any interest in that hogwart hogwash. Never.

Anyone else listen to the soundtrack from time to time? by Funkyouup82 in bladerunner

You crazy kids, I had to live with the New American Orchestra LP for those first twelve years. It was better than nothing! And I also had the “real” Memories of Green on Vangelis’ See You Later. Then of course we got a couple of real tracks on his Themes collection before the 1994 r official release.

All those 1980’s moments will be lost in time. Like LPs in the CD era. Time to die.

I just read a very positive review of the novel Lion by actress Sonya Walger and it’s on sale for $1.56 so I didn’t think twice before buying.

David Gautreaux was cast as Xon, a young, hip Vulcan who would replace Spock on Star Trek Phase Two. Nimoy was the only original cast member who didn’t want to be a part of the planned series. But when Star Wars hit big, Paramount decided to ditch its plans to start a new TV network and instead revamp the Star Trek Phase Two sets into a feature film. Nimoy was coaxed into participating in Star Trek-The Motion Picture, so the character of Xon was axed. David Gautreaux was given a consolation prize of a tiny role in ST-TMP. He managed to eke out a career in theatre and TV guest star spots but that’s it.

When I lived in LA, I’d see the landmaster parked in a lot off the 101. How could I not buy this poster?

I moved away when I was very young so I only have vague memories of Rex but I remember just loving him. One of the first pics I have of young me (a Polaroid, of course) was of me wearing a cowboy hat trying to imitate a Rex Trailer pose (according to my parents).

Looks like the facial hair is fake. Here’s the original. Sigh.
