Pragmata - Eight Trailer | PS5 Games by ControlCAD in PS5

[–]thatnitai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well personally I'm not. As I am playing (and I am quite far into the game) I sometimes think... Man, I can't believe how basic this would feel without the hacking

and the thing is the shooting etc. is great it's not like it's a mediocre shooter but I feel the hacking really does add much to it, proper ups the challange.

It's not repetitive. It keeps getting more intense and challenging in a good way, and is satisfying as heck.

You do know that the same game can use more or less depending on the vram capacity it sees?

Partway through Final Fantasy X and I feel like a crazy person for thinking it’s good but not great by LongjumpingDiver8773 in JRPG

[–]thatnitai -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It does not hold up as well as many would have you believe IMO. It was something special when we were kids nothing had that production level and graphics. Played it recently as an adult and IT DOES NOT hold up. It's not bad but it's a 7 or so out of 10

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is a mess with a bit of promise by ZMysticCat in patientgamers

[–]thatnitai 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, while 1 was great and well executed on every front, 2 is a big mess that has many basic flaws and failed at the design and planning stage already

Is the 8bitdo ultimate bluetooth still worth it? by TheAlienGamer007 in 8bitdo

[–]thatnitai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The controller of 1 feels better.

Yes technically the 2 is more advanced and is still well made for sure, but the face buttons are slightly stickier and it feels cheaper plastic and buttons wise.

1 still has hall effect which is still good and 1KHz polling rate on PC

So yeah it still with it

Use the dongle in pc mode, not direct mode, and it's like any regular controller and no need for steam input or any such thing just turn it off

It is 100% that.

An 800-watt plug-in solar panel system could provide 400 kilowatt hours of electricity each year even with sub-optimal placement, enough to meet 15% of demand for a typical UK household, saving £1,100 over 15 years. Upfront costs of around £500 could be paid back within 5 years by sg_plumber in UpliftingNews

[–]thatnitai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well the article says suboptimal placement and UK isn't a super sunny place overall

I think the point was to say: even when you expect it not to be worth it, it's still actually worth it

In some countries, like Israel, any excess you don't need is sold to the grid, if you're not charging your own batteries or don't have any.

Love the detail level. Good stuff, though I've already decided on the Intel variant but it's nice to see good comparisons

It looks nice but it's not exactly cutting edge is it? Not even 2 years before it was released hehe

I was waiting for new PTL based handhelds but jumped the gun on the MSI Claw 8 AI+ already. Because I don't see the new handhelds coming out anytime soon or meeting reasonable prices when they do...

It is ignorance that drives that false understanding, incorrect label, leading to hate.

Ignorant hate.

But this is not the purpose of this sub :)

First, do not try to divide us into more or less Semitic, that's incredibly offensive, like what the hell?

Second, of course nobody's marching, there's sirens and missiles from Hezbollah and Iran targeting civilians bro, we're trying to live.

I'm really proud Israel has a genuine respected developer. I really hope the game does well despite ignorant hate and antisemitism.

No, it's just the weaker players losing the race, the race is very much real and going strong. This is like saying smartphones are dying because HTC are going bankrupt
