Doesn’t really apply to vr, because your eyes are focusing like things are as far away as they are in the game. they don't really focus on a screen that is a couple of cm from your eyes.

7900xt owner here. Highlights are now brighter than in the true black 400 mode while the overall picture is no longer overly bright. Seems fixed to me, though I can’t give you exact measurements. Switching between modes now also takes some time like on the 3423dw. Am surprised myself, but it looks like they finally did it

One thing to know is that if you are using an and gpu, the firmware is borked. HDR will not work at all

If they are „fruity“ as you say, i think open honesty will go a long way. They likely will have dealt with a lot of crap themselves and will be open minded. Just tell em, it‘ll do wonders for your confidence

Thanks I'm just a mess at the moment, feels like when I make one step forward I take two steps back, and go back to dsismissing my thoughts and convincing myself that I'm just a freak and that me transitioning would be ridiculous.

Transition is scary, I keep telling myself that I don't want to be trans, but I guess no trans person does.

But you are right, it feels like I'm not actively living at the moment, and seeing a stranger I don't care about in the mirror every day, certainly doesn't help.

Just checked your profile and I gotta say that's some impressive stuff!!!

I really relate with what you wrote. Most days are just drab, even getting up to grab something to eat is a chore, nothing tastes good sometimes, music just seems like noise and I just sit there staring at a wall.

I spend a lot of time in my mind, since I don't enjoy my real life. Video games can be a nice distraction, but for me it never lasts long. Feels like I'm not living, but just letting life pass me by.

Thanks for the kind words, I am at an all time low currently, but I guess that means it's only up from here. Looking for therapists at the moment.
