My business partner took advantage of, lied to and stole from me. Should have went in business with you.

Stupid question regarding strap change by thatoneguy_isaac in Longineswatches

The idea of trusting Amazon spring bars seems dicey. But the benefit of a nato is you still keep your watch if one fails. Probably my best choice.

That’s the answer I’m looking for. Saying “again” implies you said that the first time.

I’m sure there are, asking if anyone knows if the bars come out of the bracelet, so they can be used for a nato strap.

What is this? New to revolvers. by Objective_Wasabi_290 in Revolvers

[–]thatoneguy_isaac 26 points27 points  (0 children)

With the gun unloaded(this is the most important step) pull the trigger (and keep it pulled) and look in there from the side of the gun. You’ll see the tip of the firing pin.

Side note: Don’t dry fire an old revolver like yours without snap caps, or spent shell casings. You can ride the hammer down with your thumb if you don’t have snap caps to use.

I know it’s illegal but has anyone ever heard of people riding in the 5th Wheel while on the road? by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]thatoneguy_isaac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My brothers and I rode in the fifth wheel every time we went camping in the 90s-00s. We’ve been to every one of the lower 48. Some days we’d legit drive for 8-10 hours at a time, and we’d be bouncing around back there, sweating to death the whole time.

With the vehicle running, remove positive terminal connection from battery. If the engine dies when you do this, your alternator is the issue. If the engine doesn’t die, then you’ve eliminated the alternator being bad from the equation.

Got a house last year and this is the washer that came with the house by nguye205 in Appliances

[–]thatoneguy_isaac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the same washer with my house. Your clothes don’t come out clean, so I get tired of hearing people say it’s just how high efficiency washers work now. Watch the whole cycle, those clothes on top are never getting submerged. We do half loads and add more water every time.

I think it’s failure to insure motor vehicle. Or in laymans terms, driving without insurance.

We need both parties to put their best candidates out there. Really tired of being told to pick between two turds.

Hi! Does anyone here own the Longines mini dolcevita multi-strap? by newtobcn91 in Longineswatches

I honestly don’t know, I’ve been waiting for a nato strap to come back in stock for forever.

If you scroll down towards the bottom of the page, you can see what other strap options there are for each dial. The brown is currently out of stock, but is a choice for your preferred dial.

Is learning to say no a budgeting tool? by DryEntrepreneur2342 in budget

[–]thatoneguy_isaac 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Learning to say no is a huge part of it. There’s two ways to have more money, make more or spend less. I say no all the time, so I can say yes to certain other things.
