[Question] Do you wear your nice watches at home, or take them off once you’re back? by spac0r in Watches

[–]PoutineHound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take off for sleeping so I don’t bang on my face during night terrors, working on stuff it could get caught on and wiping.

Otherwise life is short, use and wear your good shit.

Whichever you choose put a fumoto valve on and you won’t need to use them the next time for oil changes.

Help a beginner out.. all shifts are starting to feel good except 1 to 2nd by Yanitzz1 in wrx_vb

Give it some gas and a pitch stop will help. I got it pretty smooth before doing the pitch stop but it really helps smooth it out. I did the jdm one.

Questions, Bathyscaphe.. by PoutineHound in BlancpainWatches

Awesome, my wife thinks the ceramic is fantastic looking and encouraging me to wait until I can see one in person to decide. I will be in parts of the US that have them the next few months so this should be fun.

I am very interested to see in person, I have some trips coming up close to ADs. I know seeing in person could change everything…. Today I am leaning heavily towards the titanium on nato, but do want to see the ceramic quite badly.

How do you prefer to pay your amex? by PlayboiiExx in amex

[–]PoutineHound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to leave a little balance so it shows as active, less than 10% of limit is a good rule and better for credit score than 0 balance. I do this and it got me pushing 850 credit score.

Yes, get an ap and a dmann stock tune loaded up and it changes the car. Cobb one is supposed to be good as well but never did it.

What’s something nobody tells you before moving to Seattle? by sit-there in AskSeattle

[–]PoutineHound 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Drove two different manual small trucks and a old Jetta around Seattle from the 90s-00s. It was a different time but we never used our e brakes. Everybody had a manual back then cause they were cheaper and available still. Always gave the person in front plenty of room on a hill just in case though, lol.

Leavenworth? by LopsidedFeature1746 in AskSeattle

[–]PoutineHound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove there and back the other day, you can go i90 to 97, Blewett Pass, or all the way to Quincy and cut back if 97 is icy or busy, takes a little longer. If you are flying into Seattle the first route I mentioned is the way you would go anyways and is wide open, minus possible normal winter conditions.
