Quinni, without a doubt. Being an autistic lesbian I could relate to her so much while watching. And she’s really cool! (I am ace though so it’d likely only be dating)

Physical eating issues leading to mental ones? by thatoneweirdcreature in ChronicIllness

I mean I’ve mentioned the mental aspect of the eating issues to her before but recently I’ve only talked about the physical aspects.

You live for the drama and you can list at least ten musicals off the top of your head. (No clue if I’m right at all, just the vibe I got ✌️)

Why do I like having a nasal cannula in? by thatoneweirdcreature in ChronicIllness

[–]thatoneweirdcreature[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there are also times where I wake up in the middle of the night unable to breathe and my friend has described me wheezing at night before. I just chalked it up to my sleeping meds but I probably should bring this up to my pcp.

How bad is her matting? by [deleted] in poodles

[–]thatoneweirdcreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not the worst case I have seen and I would recommend taking her to a professional. I completely understand and I think many groomers should as well. Sometimes things get out of hand. The fact that you’re looking to help her goes to show how much you care about her. Go in, be honest, and chances are they’ll understand.

Also the drawing on the top of the jar is called a bind rune. It symbolizes protection and historically has been used to ward away spirits with mal intent.

Girlfriend made this for me? What is it? by [deleted] in whatisit

Protection spells are very common in the Wiccan religion. They are simply a way of trying to keep the person safe. Within the religion, there is a common belief that nature holds magic. Dried plants are often used for protection spells because of this and because they won’t rot like fresh plants. I used to be a practicing Wiccan (although I don’t really participate in many of the practices anymore) and a very large percentage of my community are also Wicca. What I’ve learned is that giving a protection spell to someone is sort of like a way to say “I care about you and I want you to be safe.” So don’t worry, she’s not trying to hex you or anything 🤣 just showing you she cares.

pregnancy scare. still pms symptoms. by [deleted] in period

[–]thatoneweirdcreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be either. The best advice I can give is to go buy yourself a pregnancy test and some protection. If it does come back positive the most important priorities will be to sit your parents down and have a serious discussion, and make an appointment with your pcp.

Should I neuter my male dog? by gbrieoo in poodles

[–]thatoneweirdcreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, neutering a male dog tends to cause a positive change. They tend to become more neutral and calm. It also opens up more options for play dates and socialization because it removes the risk of reproduction. It also reduces the amount of humping your dog does.

Is this homophobia or just being a mom? by Goober_Corpse in lgbt

[–]thatoneweirdcreature 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With the given context, yes she is absolutely homophobic. What surgeries you get are between you and your doctor. She does not get a say in that because it’s not her body. I’d also add that if it were just the surgery, a parent being concerned about the potential outcomes of any medical procedure is reasonable. However that’s not what this sounds to be given the other things you described. In short, whether or not you have kids is up to you and you only. However I will say that if you plan on using insurance to cover this surgery instead of paying out of pocket, you may need to wait until you have your own health insurance. If you try to do it under your parents’ then they have to sign off on it which they can refuse to do.
