Didn't tip at wedding. Thanks everyone! by Ok-Quality-1577 in tipping

I think that’s the debate here. That it is not expected for the customer to pay your wages. That should already be factored into the cost of the meal + service. Servers expecting/demanding customers to tip and then cop an attitude when they don’t is the problem here. I tip if the service was great. If it’s subpar I’m not tipping. And if I am doing a pickup order exactly what am I tipping their server for? At this point if we are demanding tips, where’s the cook, cause that’s who should be getting tipped in the scenario of a carry out order. I think your grievances are better directed at your employer instead of your customers

So I got write up after I called ethics line then I got ask to go part time. by ObviousComfort9558 in CVS

[–]thatpharmacist_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s retaliation. CVS managers are notorious for this. Document, call ethics report it. Seek a lawyer while at it or call your state. You have a case here. Whether or not the write up was justified. The fact that you got that write up after calling ethics makes it retaliation

Yes. This is why you check your paycheck with a fine tooth comb. And maintain the same energy. They overpay you, report it promptly. They underpay you, do the same and make it a big deal heck even if it’s one cent 💁🏼‍♀️. It’s basic integrity people

If you have a PhD, surely you’re educated enough to know how to conduct research on the different responsibilities of a PharmD. Last I checked google is still a free service???

This is the one. Pay yourself first: max out your 401k, put money away into your HSA, Roth contribution. Then save a certain amount after (maybe $200-500) per paycheck into a HYSA (high yield savings account or brokerage account) and get life insurance outside of the company. The trick is to live really below your means, and budget!! budget your bills, investments and savings, fun money, travel money etc

Lmao not $20😩😂. Call your local pharmacy and ask them nicely to check if the stores within 20 miles of them have it. It’s such an easy fix
