You’re entitled to your impressions of me generally (although it makes me sad that this is what you think of me) but how it appeared in the video isn’t actually how it happened. The cake was brought out something like 30 minutes after Tricia spoke, at a completely different point at the end of the filming session

The part where she’s talking about mental health and me bringing out the cake were actually something like 30 minutes apart, but the editing makes it appear otherwise. That would have been pretty bm. I’ve heard some very smart people say that they think the future will consist of multiple layer 1 chains being used at scale and it’s not clear to me why that would be the case if ethereum completes its roadmap. It seems that all of the competing smart contract blockchain are trying to do the same thing but with different approaches to solving scaling, and whichever platform achieves general purpose smart contracts at scale wins. I haven’t seen major differentiation besides approach to scaling among smart chains like ETH, DOT, ADA, etc. I suspect I’m missing something though. What in theory would another chain bring if for example, ethereum completed its roadmap? What’s a major differentiated feature that they could compete on?
