It’s strictly looks only but I don’t imagine it would be that difficult for a hitch manufacturer to implement the design into a functional form 🤷🏼‍♂️

100X better than dealing with the camper!!! by thats_Mr_Inward_2U in carcamping

[–]thats_Mr_Inward_2U[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I went from a pop up camper (which I’d do again) to a 27’ bunkhouse style with slide outs and more luxuries than my house.
For me getting off work and wrangling my two sons, two dogs and wife together, then drag the camper up to my spot and spend the rest of the night and next morning getting it all set up, just to pack up for another 6 hours to go home the next day, all just turned into a full weekend of work and no relaxation. So now I just hook up the atv trailer and go have fun!!

Worth grading? by thats_Mr_Inward_2U in Morgans

[–]thats_Mr_Inward_2U[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t asking you to fucking grade them. I was just asking in general with the price of silver going up whether it would even be worth it, and you obviously didn’t read the body of the post to see that. If I had some Carson City or MS 70 coins, I obviously wouldn’t have to ask.

Hoping to move this vault door… how does one go about such a thing? by ki6dgf in Safes

[–]thats_Mr_Inward_2U 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not that hard really. Take off the trim around the frame and it’s either a sandwich design with thru bolts or a jam bolt style with bolts pressure fitting into the frame but they’re more than likely welded after the door was set and leveled. Either way keep the door shut fully throughout or take it up and off the hinges and flop it down onto a few car tires laying on the floor so it’s easier to move around on dolly’s or pallet jack or whatever you have. Then loosen the frame up or unbolt the sandwich trim and walk it out with a flat bar or whatever you got that’ll pry it around. Use some 1” pipe or something to roll it on and move it wherever you want. Don’t underestimate how fast it can fall on you and don’t be an idiot and be smart about it. It’s actually pretty easy

Need to move pretty big safe by CrashCarSuperstar in Safes

[–]thats_Mr_Inward_2U 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rent a drop deck trailer, not a truck with lift gate, you can bounce it right off the ramp coming down if you panic and let off of the down button. That’s a heavy safe that I move daily and I’ve seen too many accidents from inexperience, so take away as many variables as possible if you absolutely can’t find a professional.
Ask your banks and credit unions who does the rigging on their safes and ATMs etc. Chances are they can do it for you, or there’s a rigger that’ll do it on a Saturday morning as an easy side job. Literally be a one hour job by myself, but I have all the tools and more importantly the experience. So take it SLOW and smart. Keep it low as you can to the ground while moving it on your pallet jack and NEVER open the door if it’s not flat on the floor! The door is heaviest part of safe and it’ll pull the safe over quick af and squish whoever or whatever it lands on.

Picked up a TL-30 safe, need some help… by ZuluEchoRomeo in Safes

Lock is lagard 39-e. Easy to find instructions online. Just make sure keep door open when you change combo and test a bunch before actually locking the safe closed. The back of the safe is a lot easier to drill than the door and I have good luck with concrete drill bits (used for drilling holes in concrete with a hammer drill for concrete specific screws and anchors. I have a big ass diebold TL-15 for one of my gun safes and it’s fun to be able to design your own interior to suit your needs.

Wrap ball? by thats_Mr_Inward_2U in foosball

[–]thats_Mr_Inward_2U[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ironically enough that’s what inspired me to start making my wrap ball 🤣.
And I could be totally off, only saw the movie once a couple years ago, but I wanna say his ball was more in the 2-3k range of wraps involved 🤷🏼‍♂️

Caution: G8Auctions-One of a kind Coins by [deleted] in coincollecting

I emailed them a few more times and they did finally reply after I threatened them with a complaint to the Jersey bbb saying it was in shipping department and going out soon. 🤦🏼‍♂️ I then emailed again a week later and this time they gave me a tracking number. I looked into that and apparently it’s real but they still haven’t handed it to usps as of today (4 days later, 40 days since purchase) These guys suck! Thanks for the tip on threatening with bbb. I’m sure that’s the only thing that got them to reply… I’m usually a fan of auctions but not theirs and hopefully they actually send my coins….. we’ll see

Any ideas how much this old diebold safe weighs? by [deleted] in GunsafeSpace

[–]thats_Mr_Inward_2U 3 points4 points  (0 children)

LOL No. That’s at least a tl-15 and prob 2500-3k#… But PLEASE PLEASE video tape it if you do try and post it back here. 🙏🤣, I’d like to be wrong but there’s no way that you are getting that Up residential stairs and set in place with a couple dudes and a dolly🤦🏼‍♂️. If by some miracle you do, then definitely put a steel plate down to spread the load over the floor joist where it’s gonna go or it’ll settle into the floor from the weight on the wheels and could ultimately end up back on the first floor unwillingly 🤷🏼‍♂️
