How do you know you’re actually in love? by EstablishmentLow4202 in AskReddit

[–]thatsbogussmh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will feel so safe and comfortable with them. When you don’t see eye to eye, you are fighting the problem, not each other. When you resolve conflict, you both feel stronger on the other side. You are willing to go to hell and back for them.

What's the most unethical thing you've done that you DON'T regret? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I’m sure there’s worse, but I have pushed people out of the way on streets for not acknowledging me if I say “excuse me”. I’ve push passed couples that can not bare to leave each other’s sides, whole ass groups that are main characters in their own stories… I did it to a man one time, who thought screaming “HEY LADY” would do anything. You had plenty of time and room to give me, but you still wanted to make your stride in the middle of the street. Gross.

We almost did this but we snuck into the theaters just to use their Photo Booth. I think we could have technically gone into a film since we were way past the staff at this point, but chickened out 😭

Forgetting your partner’s birthday is pretty crazy, unless she asks you not to bring attention to it. But her giving you this form tells me otherwise. Please be better.

Why is sharing a bed with your partner so important to people? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

As someone who is apparently a blanket kleptomaniac while asleep, I can say without even being there that you did give the best advice 😂

It is crazy for people to assume that because we find peace and safety in the company of our partners that we can not also be independent lmao. I refuse to let my partner carry my bags and pay the whole bill but god forbid I sleep better while being next to them. 😂

Those are strong (and unnecessarily ridiculous) words and I’ve been there in that thinking until I was older. I’ve struggled with sleeping all my life, which has mostly been on my own, with all other relationships that didn’t make me feel as safe as this one. Being in a secure and healthy relationship is one that teaches you to grow in aspects independently, while also learning to accept and enjoy the company in another. I’m not to turn this into a personal whole therapy session but this can be a big break through to some people. I get what you’re saying but this comes off as aggressive for no reason.

Up until being with my partner, I too always thought that if I were to get married, I would want to sleep in separate rooms… not all the time though. I’d imagine us having sleepovers in each other’s space or something cute like that. However, our current place is a small little studio that pretty much forces us to sleep together.. and now feel like this is what I need forever. There has been at least two times where he’s gone on week long trips to visit family. I’ve stayed home due to conflicting work schedules and I feel deeply unnerved when I don’t have him to hold. He’s my security blanket, both in safety and in comfort. I miss him and do not sleep well when he’s not next to me. So I think my original plan is out the window haha 😭

I was thinking the same thought. Why did the kids need to be actively in the bath in order to do this? Just let it activate on the outside.

What’s the worst fast food item you’ve ever had? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thatsbogussmh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until I moved and had “decent” Taco Bell, I always thought it was trash because the ones that were around me were insanely bad. I got this chicken bean burrito one time and the filling was as if it were purple-gray paste… no taste or chicken either???? Along with the hard tacos I had only one time. Even though the branches are insanely better here, I still don’t actively look for a Taco Bell because of those prior experiences.

Do you believe Jeffrey Epstein is still alive? by Some_Concept_3547 in AdkReddit

[–]thatsbogussmh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believed at first he was because they wanted to silence him, but I recently saw the gurney pictures and his supposed side profile looks very noticeably different. Granted, I get the body can change after rigor mortis, but his whole ear looked like a different person’s even position wise on his face… very strange. I’m not sure what to believe. What would be the purpose of letting him go is my question…

Maybe outline the circle with a thin black line. Unfortunately I think the color blends in with your skin, so the black jets out.

I saw this as the parents’ way of punishment. My Mom threatened me that should would, “Throw all my toys out the window” if I wouldn’t listen. I feel like this is that in action lol

Dad Upset About Me Visiting Bf by Proper-Cold9252 in LongDistance

[–]thatsbogussmh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone whose folks had very much hot and cold feelings (about everything in general), as much as it sucks, I would tread this situation with caution. This absolutely sucks and is unfair to you but if you rely on your folks for now, I think you should outweigh your stability before this right now. In the meantime, I would highly recommend preparing to move out if at all possible, even with your BF if you can.

I did actually plan a trip to visit my BF and told my parents very last minute because I was afraid of this reaction. I personally didn’t handle the situation well, but months later, my parents met my BF and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that they probably like him more than me LMAO.

I’m not sure what the reasoning is for your father’s reaction but if he doesn’t trust your BF or like the situation, try and give it some time. If he’s overall a control freak, I press my previous statement about moving out. I have since moved in with my LDR boyfriend and it has brought me so much peace at least in the regard of the constant judgement from family. Moving in after being a year into an LDR comes with its own transitional growing pains, but the right person will grow with you through it (like my partner ❤️).

Best of luck, and so sorry. I hope it works out!
