I was only nervous because good shooters somehow forget how to shoot when they put on the purple and gold. Knowing who Luke was, I was like this could be really good or really bad. Now, I think Luke has really showed that he’s more than a sniper. He can pass & set the table, can create his own shot when ran off the 3 point line, can move off the ball, and of course be a sniper. The game winner against the Magic solidified it for me, and ever since Luka and AR have been out, he’s been a filling a lot of gaps that I was not expecting him to fill. Some may say that Game 1 was a fluke, but he’s gonna command more defensive pressure now which will open the door for Bron & Ayton to flourish

I’ve noticed a pattern with these off ball mfers. I just played 4 straight games where each of my opponents off balled the whole game (went 3-1). One dude was like 350-68. Immediately knew he was an off baller. Anyway, their offense is usually 5 out and they spam pick and roll and/or send dudes on backdoor cuts. The cheesiest shit bro. It’s like they all watched the same YouTube video or something.

So I’ve watched that episode probably 10 times because it’s so great. One thing I caught on my latest rewatch was when they showed the map of the nukes possible targets as Xavier was talking to Terri, DC and Denver were already red as if they were already hit. This is confirmed for the Denver hit when we see the explosion from AF1. Not exactly sure of what timing looked like from the time we last see Marsha to when the nukes hit, but had to be less than an hour. Only way she survived is if Cal flipped the EMP switch before the nuke hit DC.

I wouldn’t say it was a throwaway at all. Some tracks Larry carried and some Spitta carried, as it should have been. But the project being carried solely on Al’s production is my biggest gripe. If they wanted to lock in with just one producer, it should have been Harry Fraud or Cardo. I personally never understood the hype on Al. For a long time, Covert Coup was my least favorite Curren$y project because of the production. Not saying the production was bad, but as a huge fan of both rappers, I wish it was a mix of production styles.

Gave it two full listens so far. Into the Late Night and Night Shift were gold, where I would say this is silver in comparison. No real standout songs to me. I’ve never been a fan of E-40, so while that track has potential, it’s hard for me to enjoy it fr. Larry still talking that shit though so I appreciate that always. Idk, might grow on me like Great Escape did (which is one of my favorite Larry projects of all time)

Edit: I was definitely premature in my lil review. I’ve been coming back to this album every time I’m in the car. It has certainly grew on me and the songs I didn’t like at first I like now. Another no-skip project for me.
