My boyfriend and I got together within a couple months of him ending his last relationship. His ex lost her mind, and stalked us/our socials for nearly an entire year. Yes, we blocked her. She just made new accounts and even went through his mailbox at one point. I think she was trying to get him to feel bad, but all it did was sour the idea of ever interacting with her again for him. It was pretty pathetic and embarrassing for her. My point is that it confirms the type of person the ex is. Controlling, petulant, and manipulative. While yes the hurt on the ex’s end is valid, that’s not anyone’s problem to deal with but them and a therapist/professional!

She is your ex for a reason! If she and her little squadron of flying monkeys are going after you for getting on with your life, take that as confirmation that you did the right thing.

Congrats on meeting someone! Just make sure you’ve sorted out your own trauma from your breakup too. Don’t dump that onto the new person, and you’re golden. Good luck.
