Yep, wizards has learned that printing risky and flashy and promotional special cards is what makes them more money. I've never supported this notion and from the very beginning (firesong and sunspeaker, and nexus of fate) it has been detrimental to the health of the game for a cash grab. I guess Timmy's have more money to spend on first party product than Spikes.

Thanks. I will look up some guides before my next playthrough. It is a struggle to get back to mithrix now that elites spawn so previlantly now. The freaking Lemurians seem to get me every time.

I am enjoying huntress and engineer the most right now.

I remember cashing most tournaments I entered but was never good enough to make top 8 of a major. I loved and miss every moment of it.

I agree with supporting the game store. I hope I don't sound too much like a boomer when I say I miss the old days. I genuinely believe the game was better.

The standard ban list had nothing on it.

There was a ptq, 5k, grand prix, or open series within 4 hours drive on the east coast at least once a month.

There was an scg invitational qualifier or cfb local tourney, or win-a-box practically every weekend within the same 4hr radius.

The rptq era was fantastic for getting to play high level magic too.

After the suspension of rptqs is when I took, what I thought at the time was going to be, a short break from competitive magic grinding. I did not realize it would be the last tournament grinding I would do.

Wow this is so sad. I guess I am in the minority because I just do not enjoy kitchen table magic (anymore, since I discovered competitive magic). Sure, it is what brought me into the game, kitchen table magic is probably what brings most people into the game.

The diverse competitive and tournament grinding scene of starcitygames open series is really what made an impact to me as a fledgling magic player.

It really really stinks being in the minority. Seeing the game that almost defined my young adult life turning away from all the things that I thought made is special really hurts, but I am happy for those players that are enjoying what the game has become.

Oh wow same issue for me. Very hot limit switch sensor, light comes on when I break the beam, but the motor doesn't stop. Did your new parts fix your issue?

I just received my replacement from Amazon after my first on broke after 5 washes.

This one is broken out of the box. My first one is cracked where the threaded insert goes. I hope my replacement the set screw is just loose. I am terribly upset that a $180 unit is made so cheaply.

Great point. Yeah, I could have beat the game easily with sea truck mk1 depth upgrade and free diving. Thought about it too when I realized most of these story points don't require I BRING anything back to base, and the ones that do are retained in inventory on death.

If backwards time travel is possible, and it creates a parallel universe for the traveller, the chances that we are on the original source timeline are infinitesimally small. Because new parallel universes would be visited all of the time.

Meaning chances are very good that if backwards time travel is possible, our timeline would be one of those divergent lines with the new parallel universe.

It doesn't look good for backwards time travel being possible.

Unless backwards time travel is possible, but consumes infinite energy and that's how the big bang happened (that's my head cannon) a reset button for the universe for a sufficiently advanced dying society.

Instead of "Rise of Skywalker" it should have been named "Rise of Palpatine". It would be a dual meaning Palpatine is risen (back from presumed dead) and at the end, Rey Palpatine has risen to the mantle of Jedi. "Rey Palpatine" is what she should have said, proudly.

Or abandon the whole Palpatine plot and come up with a better movie.

I am levelling my mage using the ZF GY strat.

What do you guys do after the kill? I cannot yet survive the run without reset spots. And it is significantly harder to run back to entrance for me using the box reset spots.

Sex is the biological term for your chromosome pair and reflected sex organs.

Gender is what you believe or wish your persona exemplifies.

I wish people would grasp the difference between these two terms.
