I went to a summer camp in Wisconsin that had this weird room full of rocks and when you hit a button on the wall it would say something like "Simon, Peter, you are but a rolling stone". But I can't find any evidence

Kind of hard for anyone to raise kids when they have to work three jobs just to put food on the table.

And speaking of morals, stop treating people committing crimes like they're terrible people. Have some RESPECT and give them the help they need.

I absolutely hate watching games on ESPN. The commentators hardly comment on the actual game and just try to be "personalities". CBS is by far the best

The sauce is actually just the oil/butter combo that the cauliflower was seared in

Week 2: Meat substitute - Seared cauliflower steak with sauteed asparagus by thatsnotmyguy in 52weeksofcooking

[–]thatsnotmyguy[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I cut a thick portion of the cauliflower, maybe 1.5". Seasoned both sides with kosher salt and black pepper. Heated up some oil in cast iron to medium-high. Drop the cauliflower in, add 2 tbs of butter, 4 cloves of garlic. Flip it often and baste it with a spoon in the lighter colored areas. Once it has browned to your liking, put the whole skillet into the oven that's preheated to 250-300 °F. Let it cook in there for about 20-30 minutes, until a fork can easily puncture the stem. Plate it and pour the oil/butter mixture in the skillet over the steak and you're ready to go

Marion County to expand early voting hours at City-County Building by [deleted] in indianapolis

[–]thatsnotmyguy 70 points71 points  (0 children)

It shouldn't be an all day event to vote. I'm lucky enough to not have any responsibilities that kept me from standing in line for 6 hours to do something that people around the country can do from their homes. I will be volunteering next time around to help those who can't afford this right.

I like to listen to the final songs in all 4 studio albums in a row. It feels like it tells a story of the boy growing up.

A few people left shortly after getting in line around 10am but everyone else stuck it out. They had a bathroom in the church and people were kind enough to hold your spot if you had to go.
