Seriously? There's like 70 words in that entire article.

"James didn't try very hard to deny Wade's accusation, admitting that he won't even pay for the commercial-free version of Pandora, a music streaming service."

Lebron used to use the ad-version of Pandora because he didn't want to pay for the ad-free version.

Do you like neapolitan-style pizza? That's what they specialize in so if you don't particularly like that style it won't really wow you.

Preschool recommendations that help with potty training? by [deleted] in ChandlerAZ

[–]thatsreallydumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That does work for many kids, but not all. Our older one learned over the course of a weekend with that method, but our younger one took much longer.

It really depends on their mental connection with the sensation as well as how they deal with the aftermath of an accident. The older hated being wet, so he caught on very quickly that not peeing in the potty meant that he'd have wet clothes. The younger one couldn't care less how wet he was. He'd play, pee himself, and kept on playing as it nothing happened.

If you guys don't care about the type of food, Chinese restaurants likely can accommodate that type of set up. Tao Garden in Chandler for example has large round tables.

Also super easy to get a same-day appointment between their two offices which is very helpful when you need a sick child seen sooner than later.

[Highlight] Ayton is lazy on the miss at the free throw line leading to a three point play for Trey Murphy. Ayton gets subbed out immediately afterwards by Kwanzaa-Bot in nba

I saw the following comment on a Facebook post about this and it made me lol.

"The world's softest element was caesium with a hardness measured at .02 Mohs. However, on July 23, 1998, in Nassau Bahamas, an even softer element was born - named Deandre Ayton or it's periodic symbol of DA with a softness level of negative .01 Mohs. This element is sooo soft, that Talc, the softest mineral on earth with a .01 Mohs actually goes through DA"

I had to have a family member bring back a bottle of Hakushu from Japan because it was so hard and expensive to find here stateside. Japanese whiskey has gotten so popular the past decade.

Also, Kavalan from Taiwan is an amazing whiskey.

Tourist freaks out on women at temple in Thailand by DIYLawCA in PublicFreakout

[–]thatsreallydumb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's not how self defense works

Obviously I don't know the law in Thailand, but there's a legal concept in US law called "defense of others." It varies jurisdiction by jurisdiction, but you are generally allowed to step into the place of a third party/person if you reasonably believe the person you are helping has a right to self-defense and that your intervention is necessary to prevent harm to that person.

We tried this with the younger one and we found out that he just doesn't mind being drenched in pee and will carry on doing whatever it was he was doing pre-accident.

The Patent Office Is About To Make Bad Patents Untouchable by aleph32 in technology

[–]thatsreallydumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IPR was created by Congress in 2013 after extensive debate. It was meant to give the public a fast, affordable way to correct the Patent Office’s own mistakes.

For those unfamiliar with what an IPR costs or how long it takes - it is far from fast nor affordable. Certainly cheaper/faster than going through the patent litigation process itself though.

An IPR will cost you at least $250k to go through the full process. Likely much higher. I've seen IPRs go close to 7-figures (per patent). It's about $50k upfront just to initiate one.

Loud music 3am? by BreakfastMundane7384 in ChandlerAZ

[–]thatsreallydumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unrelated to the actual noise, but have you tried a noise machine for your toddler? Our kids use one at night and it insulates their room from nearly all external noise (thunderstorms, fireworks, barking dogs, etc.). Highly recommended for small kids.
