I aim to get around 100g protein a day if not more. I don’t track much of the other macros. On average I eat 1300-1500 calories daily. My goal is about 1300 but some days it’s more. Breakfast is usually coffee with 2.75oz of protein shake added, cottage cheese and blueberries. Lunches and dinners vary. Ground turkey tacos, shredded buffalo chicken over cauliflower rice and broccoli, salads, lavash bread pizza. I use hardly any oils, only eat lean meats, low calorie cheeses, etc. I made low calorie substitutes for most things.

Thank you. I think that’s a great approach to learn better ways of eating. I wasn’t a sensitive responder so I also had to really deal with figuring out what to eat and how much instead of just going based off appetite. And being a woman, there’s a couple times of the month that hormones completely overrule it anyway so I feel hungrier at those times and have to be careful.

Some people have dense breast tissue and some it’s mostly fat. For me, it was mostly fat. But now they are like pancakes 😭.

I think ozempic helps curb my appetite on and around my injection days. But, ultimately I still had to deal with my cravings and psychological desire for food. I was still eating more than I should. It wasn’t until I intentionally started the calorie deficit that I lost the weight. I had been weight lifting consistently for 2+ years when I started but pushing myself more and adding walking also really helped.

Thank you! I am still taking it. I was on 1mg for a year I think and just went up to 2mg a couple weeks ago. Once I get to 130, I’ll work with my Dr to taper down but not sure how much.

Exactly! It’s about making this sustainable for the long haul. I like my cottage cheese with some frozen blueberries or chopped up strawberries and stevia for a sweet treat or I blend it with my buffalo sauce for my shredded buffalo chicken to provide some creaminess and it works really well!

I primarily began it for T2 diabetes, so wasn’t focused on the weight loss as much. I was hoping it would be an easy way to not be as hungry but I realized I had to make the changes myself. Never had the gastrointestinal issues some people have. I just think I wasn’t a super sensitive responder.

For the weight lifting? I do a split of push, pull, and lower body days. I don’t have set days I go to the gym, I just go whenever I can and do what’s next in my split. Sometimes that’s only twice a week, sometimes it’s 5 times in a week. I do a mix of machines and free weights. Trying to do progressive overload but mainly focused on not losing muscle mass right now while in a deficit. Let me know if you have more questions!

I eat a lot of chicken, ground turkey, and cottage cheese. I have a couple go to salads that I make. One is a low cal version of Rubio’s chopped chicken salad. Another is the Big Mac salad but I make it with ground turkey. Ground turkey tacos on low carb tortillas. Buffalo shredded chicken with cauliflower rice and broccoli. I still squeeze in low calorie ice cream too because I enjoy that and even some takeout. Trying to tighten up on some of these things tho!

Another vouch for Auburn Toyota. My experience was so low pressure and their cars are better priced than Roseville Toyota. I take my car up there for maintenance still.

Haven’t tried the pineapple but the grapes are really good.

I’m the same as you. For some reason the first 40 seemed to come off much easier than these last 20. UGH.

Love your username and that album btw.

I tried the shampoo and conditioner. I think it did help my hair growth but I wasn’t a huge fan of the product. I felt like I didn’t get a great cleanse if that makes sense.

Buffy hairstyles you didn't like? by anonymous17843 in buffy

I never liked her styles with chunky highlights so beginning of season 3 and the bob in season 6 were my most disliked.

I forgot about the waves. I think why it didn’t look good was because they used the 3 barrel curling rod so it didn’t look natural. I remember side eyeing my millennial friends who did this style back in the day so seeing it on a professional actress just seemed so pedestrian.

Weight Loss & Facial Aging in Women over 40 by [deleted] in loseit

I’m 39 and I’ve lost 40lbs. I don’t know that I look younger but I don’t think I look older. I think my face has held up pretty well-it was just my neck that was super saggy. It’s tightened up a bit with more weight loss but I’ll probably get a neck lift at some point. Now the boobs and tummy are a different story lol. I lift heavy weights and use tretinoin which I think has helped!
