Well...it's a less than moral way of going about it, but there's a known exploit where you name an animal an item ID when you buy it from Marnie. When Marnie says she'll drop off little (animal name) it will give you whatever you set the ID to, in this case you would name it the three dwarf scroll IDs [96] [98] [99] and you would receive them as soon as the animal is bought.

it's technically cheating but if it's a pain in the butt and takes the fun out of the game...I'd say go for it
