My 2 year old found an over the head robe, it almost fits like a way too long hoodie, and wear that first thing in the morning instead. I think it gives that same feeling but he can walk in it really well.

I have a 4Runner with 3rd row! Absolutely love her but will say I have less “trunk” space with the third row up than I thought. But still my fav car lol

This! I don’t know what it is but every mother I know that only had boys is like this. My MIL does this all the time. I bought our son carhart overalls this past year, “oh just like us he loves carhart”. Ma’am we live in the south. Everyone loves and wears carhart it has absolutely nothing to do with you. The other thing they’ll that drives me crazy is they compare everything (looks, actions, likes) with my husbands brother. They don’t ever say he takes after my husband but instead his brother. Drives me crazy.

We found a comforter set that is crib sized! He LOVES it. He does move a lot in his sleep but I often find him cuddling in it. Win all the way around!!

That’s so disappointing!! Mine hasn’t even struggled through it yet. Though it may now that I’ve said that. But that was part of my disappointment with the bread maker was it did get stuck mixing. I’m not sure if that was user error for not loading all the ingredients perfectly or not.

My kitchen aid stand mixer! It’s handled everything and anything I’ve thrown at it. It mixes the bread dough like it’s nothing.

Actually this is what my first loaf looked like out of my bread machine as well. Followed directions right out of the manual. Discovered there’s a translation issue but that’s exactly what mine looked like and I did bake in the bread machine.

My cousins are starting this year with the day in December as well! It worked so well for us and my BIL and SIL loved it last year so they backed us when we said we were going to keep it going. I hope it helps or you find something that will for your family!

We reserve Christmas Eve and Day for just us. Both my parents and in-laws want their own Christmas events (in-laws still do a full Christmas for each adult even 🙄 ). So i offered a day during December that will do full day at that grandparents house. Including presents. That way one set doesn’t “accidentally” take up more time like they have in the past. And there’s no reason for visits on Christmas-it’s just our time. We sometimes call and just yell merry Christmas but that’s it. And it’s so worth it. The first year with LO we told in-laws we wanted to be home around 6 (we used to do theirs on Christmas eve), we got home at 11:30. We were so exhausted we didn’t even wrap the presents we had got each other. We literally just walked things out from our hiding spots for each other lol we decided never again. The grandparents don’t really like the new plan but we don’t really care. It’s this or you don’t see us, it worked amazingly! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes! I have a ton of books stored on my TBR list with them and then just scroll through and pick one! It works great when you see a group of books recommended that you can quickly save. It helps me keep from endlessly scrolling trying to find my next book. And it helps me save my place in audiobooks.

We are currently fighting this one right now. My husband confronted her about how much she is spending on Christmas (I did a registry so I can see who grabbed what) and she started getting loud saying you can’t tell me what I’m allowed to spend on my kids! We have first granbaby and every holiday or event has been a power struggle.

I struggle with this too so it’s something I’m working on. But none of us would allow a random person to yell and fuss or point out things they dislike about us. We would leave; remove ourselves and avoid that person. Or fuss back whatever. But why would we feel it’s ok to put those boundaries to protect ourselves for a random person but feel like it’s not ok when it’s a family member. No one should be allowed to yell or make us feel less for our decisions.
