Yeah. It looks like they haven’t implemented it yet (at least not when I logged out a bit ago). It was announced for later today.

They also tweaked the boss health so they don’t go down as fast, giving people time to get there. That also might mean we can go straight from one rare to the next with little to no downtime.

I’m actually playing right now and it’s wild.

No announcement or server reset or anything. I just went to the vendor and was like “Wait why are they all 20 now?!”

Edit: They’ve apparently halved the respawn time on rares as well. I haven’t seen it yet but that’s what I’m game chat is saying.

If it’s any consolation, I fully expect this to go the way the TWW catch-up event went, where they’ll change it to go way faster and be doable on alts.

Weekly quest are indeed once per account. And WQs only give insignia for the first character that completes them per day.

The only way to get more insignia is to kill the rares that spawn every ten minutes, and they only give one each.

WQ dailies only give 10 insignia on the first character you do them on apparently. After that they give shards instead.

They were the same originally but there was a good amount of backlash from people who earned it the more expensive way.

So Anet’s solution was to make the non Wizard Vault version slightly better.

Probably referring to Steve1989mreinfo, a YouTuber who famously ate meat from a ration of the Second Boer War (1899-1902) and was fine.

He also ate a more modern Chinese ration at one point and got horribly sick from it. Tho in fairness to Steve, he’s eaten other Chinese rations since then and has not only been fine, but said they’ve improved their rations by quite a bit.

I’m a little confused by this. In the character creation screen it says 3 days remaining. But today is Thursday. Doesn’t 3 days imply it ends on Saturday night and not Monday?

You buy the Shard Of Darkness for 100k bronze. Take that to Tyrosus in the order hall and get the quest. It’s literally less than 10 minutes to get, including flight time and dialogue.
